    I was late to buy too and had dealer send it back to Lionel to fix issues. Took over four months before I ever saw it. Great looking engine. I now have a grey and black one. Grey from prior issue. Guess I will have two Big Boys since Lionel is releasing another one next year. Probably will be the only thing I can buy as I look for a 3k retail price and smoke will not come out of every single location on the engine or tender (water effects). Lionel needs to make the bell move and the engineer’s arm move when he blows the whistle and empties my bank account!

      I was very fortunate to communicate with East Side Trains and Bruk B when I purchased this. We were able to make a plan prior to me purchasing it. I am also looking forward to the new Big Boy next year! I will most likely put a preorder on the UP 4000!

    I may get in touch with Mr. Banister about my challenger if she has the issues yours did. Mine is a 3985 as well. I also LOVE your 3rd rail daylight MT-4.

    When you un-synced the drivers, did you use a roller base or did you take it apart?

    So. What are the dimensions of your trainboard. Nice detailed video. What type of track is that? Atlas.. Did you add that led sign on the roof? About to do my first video, taking way long to do switches and parking tracks gary j

    • @will2926
      @will2926  ปีที่แล้ว

      My layout right now is 12x8. I made this using 4x8 boards that I bolted together similar to Legos. The sign is a Miller Engineering Union Station Sign. They are excellent signs that add a lot of cool details to any layout. I used atlas track for the layout!

    Do you need a specific controller for all the crew talking features?

    • @will2926
      @will2926  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not necessarily however, if you use the Cab-2 remote you can unlock and use every function on the Legacy locomotives. You can use the Cab-1, Cab-1L and Bluetooth app too. The upcoming Cab-3 app will also be helpful.

    Does the bell swing on this one like it does on the vision line big boy?

    • @will2926
      @will2926  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, this model does not have the swinging bell feature. On the prototype air pressure is used to ring the automatic bell.
