    just a suggestion. Make separate chapters for each of the products, with titles.. It's really hard to scroll through the video without even knowing how many programs you are reviewing. It would make it so much easier for viewers. Or at least put the timestamps for each product in the description.

    • @trustranker
      @trustranker  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It says 5 products in large caps lettering in the thumbnail and title.

      He actually has chapters, he just didnt do it right. the first chapter needs to be tagged at 0:00 for TH-cam to auto-recognize it.

      @@trustranker that maybe so but it’s still a valid comment and suggestion.

      @@la-thekid Wrong. His point is factually wrong and the suggestion is unnecessary since it's a 9 minute video. My God! You people wanna be spoonfed your information instead of giving this guy some props for making a decent one packed with useful information for those of us that aren't too lazy to watch a 9 minute video.

      @@frankmagowan7400take a breath.
      It’s an informational video. Some people need some help retaining the information the way it presented ….if an included feature such as time stamping is available and a user finds that to be helpful.
      It’s only logical for them to hope/expect it to be on an informational video, doesn’t really matter the length.

    You're presentation is par excellent, superb, straight to the point. If you were American this clip would've been 30 minutes long.
    I think I might go for Topaz. I want to upscale and remaster the movie Superman 1978 to 4k and at least 60FPS...make it look sweeeeet.
    And then would look to do same with others and home made videos. Any advice?

    AVCLabs can go higher than 4k if you set a custom resolution. I also like it for the fact it's the only software on this list with a Mac version. However, it's Intel only. So if you're using a Mac Silicon with a Metal chip like I do, the processing time is gonna take forever. Hope they fix this soon.
    Btw. Has this top 5 list changed for you since you made this video, or is this still the top 5 best ai video enhancers in your opinion?

      VHS is the worse format ever put on the market. If your video tapes are heavily blurred and heavily grainy there is no AI software that will save them.

    • @cs0rpc
      @cs0rpc ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blu3collar949 they can be saved, but you’re absolutely right that upscaling them is never going to bring them up to HD or 4K standard. Upscaling is only worth it if used subtly. In most cases it is totally over cooked and just hurts my eyes.

    In reality, you’ll probably need multiple tools, especially if you work with a variety of footage types. I’ve been working on the Super Mario Bros Super Show, and since it’s a hybrid live action/animated show, I’ve used Topaz for the live action and a custom ESRGAN model for the animated parts.

      If you're looking for high-quality animation upscaling, Nero AI Video Upscaler is exceptional. I've tested it myself, and Nero AI excels at upscaling animation to 4K. Better than Topaz.

    Why don't broadcasters upscale their own content ? Instead of forcing our tvs to do a good or terrible job of it to the point of not wanting to watch their channels anymore 🤔

    Great quick overview. I like birding and want to get more into videoing short clips of bird behaviour (say 10 second clips or 5 to 10 mins of footage and and cut usable clips out of that) so I will need to denoise low light high iso, low res, stabilise shaky shots and need slow-mo at 4k 120p/240p. I am aware of Topaz but its pricey for a retired amateur. What would you recommend?

    • @camerondouglas5844
      @camerondouglas5844 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Better off getting a Mirrorless camera to not worry about the high ISO noise and a cheap tripod for the shakiness

    Does the Topaz have a way to "lighten" dark videos as well as make them more clear or de-blurred? Also, is it hard to learn? I tried a free trial of it and don't think I was quite understanding it. Here's the main type of project I'll be working on. SO tell me if you think my best bet is Topaz or Hitpaw.....I shot a lot of video of my late friend and his bands during the80's and 90's. Usually in small dark clubs. Naturally I want to 'clear' them up, and lighten them a little. I have a pretty fast cpu now. So which one do you think would be better in my particular circumstance? And also consider the learning curve. Thanks ever so much for any advise you can give me.

    • @trustranker
      @trustranker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, although I don't know if I'd use another video editor for contrast/brightness settings. I might actually. Most platforms have somewhat of a learning curve, although I don't think Topaz is particularly difficult. A few hours max should get you where you need to be. What was it you had difficulty with in the free trial?

    • @mykicks
      @mykicks ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trustranker I'm not sure. It's been a little while since I tried it. But I think I just couldn't get it to work. I'd load my footage but couldn't seem to get it much beyond that point. Thanks.

      That software is trash. I bought that membership first which I really regretted it. There was no refund & it was while I discovered Topaz. Also HitPaw upscaling duration is extremely slow even on small clips. I'm using Topaz now & it's the real deal.
