Same situation happens with me. I'm graduated Automobile engineer in 2019, specialization in mechanical design. Searching job in core field but everyone want experience no value for fresher,. Then i apply for IT company,. And they hired me.
Fair point. I'm a mechanical graduate. Inclined towards automotive sector. Also I have had coding experience and skills since long. As per your words, merging both of the skills, will take me close to 4.O. Equally, I wish to persue masters from Germany. 😌 Thank you
Thanks for your comment. Please don't just stick to Automotive. There are plenty of amazing courses in Germany and once you start exploring you would see how interesting they are. Also focus more on AI, Machine Learning because they are the present as well as the future.
Definitely yes, AI and ML is worth it. But how do I get there is a bigger question na... Any chance I could connect with you over a call or something, if you fine with it? Also I can share my insta, since it's public account anyway.

Suddenly i came across many videos stating that job in mechanical field is comparitively low compared to it field and i suddenly changed my decision and now i am pursuing a course related to web development ...and surprisingly i liked this field . my only concern is that I don't want to get stuck in India should i rethink and apply for masters for winter intake .? please let me know your opinion
Hi Navaneeth, Thank you very much for your question :) I am glad that you changed your path from a dead field to something which has value in the job market. I don't know much about Web development but yeah it's related to comp sci or IT so well and good. Planning to come to Germany is entirely your decision. I unfortunately cannot tell you what you should do but I can give you a direction. First of all think why do you want to do masters? As you stated that your friends took whatever they got and so you want to do the same. There's no harm in that, people often do it as it's a ticket to get out of their home country where they're not satisfied. So from your comment (i can be wrong) you want to do masters because you 'wanted' to get out of India because mechanical has no scope. BUT now you've landed onto something which has scope in India, I assume that you're being paid well for that and most importantly you like the field. Do you need to get out of India now? Do you need to pursue a masters now? Why do YOU want to do masters? Is it because you like the subject matter so much that you want to dive further deeper into it? The answer here is a straight NO. So masters is out of the equation. Don't want to get stuck in India? If you have a well paying job why is living in India bad? It's not like living in Germany is heaven. Everything has its own pros and cons. If you still want to get out of India and experience foreign life you could do it by getting some work experience in your field and then applying for a job seeker visa and getting a job in Germany. There are many ways to do things you want. I would like to tell that student visa is the most easiest ways of getting here. Ultimately the decision is yours, you have to decide what brings you most comfort and happiness. Following the herd is not a solution and it's not easy to not follow the herd either. I wish you the best!
sir mai abhi final year mai hi mechanical engineering mujhe Germany mai MS karna hai public universities se to IELTS dene ke bad bhi research paper compulsory hote hai kya
Bhai please don't address me by Sir! I don't like that :) Secondly, there is no correlation between IELTS and Publishing a Research Paper So your question is actually making no fucking sense :) IELTS is a test for english language skills, whereas research paper is something that showcases your ability of conducting and presenting your research work. There is NO compulsion of publishing a research paper for any university in Germany as far as I know. The requirements change from university to university. I hope this helps :)
Bhai mere 2 questions hai. PLZ....answer kijiye ga uske pehle mai thoda background deta hoo like Mai ek mechanical engineer hoo working at Tata motors. Questions 1) Sustainable energy technology ke Field mai opportunities kaisi hai Germany mai aur ye pta kaise kare? Like wind or Solar mera interest Usme hai 2) MS in Germany ya MS in India like from iisc Bangalore ya iit Madras. Konse parameters consider karke decide kare ki konsa option choose karna hai .....
1) There are a lot of universities here in Germany which offer those courses. I do think so it has a good scope but I ain't sure about it. I am a bit doubtful whether these fields will have a strong industrial relevance in the coming years or not. However, I see a lot of discussion going on everywhere. But I cannot give you a firm answer based upon that. To find about this I would suggest you to contact people on LinkedIn. Firstly visit Daad site. Search 'Daad' on google and then go to International Programmes. Enter the relevant fields and hit search. There you will get all the universities which offer the courses which you want to pursue. Now search for these universities on LinkedIn and you'll find people studying that course in that university. You can connect with those people and ask them your questions :) 2) There can be a lot of parameters. Some can be important for you some cannot. It's very subjective. Financial capabilities, future plans, exposure, willpower, homesickness, money earned, standard of living, difficulty in getting an admit and many more parameters can play a role in taking a decision. I personally never got into this dilemma because I had made a firm decision of going abroad no matter what :)
Hey there! Thanks for thr question. You don't have to address me as Sir, I don't like it :) That's a very good decision that you want to switch to AI. There are always chances of job after a masters degree in Germany provided that you have a very good command on German. There are people who get jobs without German as well but they have to struggle a lot. Being able to speak in German would definitely will give you an edge. You have to check if there are universities offering MS in AI or not, because often times universities don't have an AI degree but AI could be one of the subjects in a masters degree. Also AI is a very broad concept and there are lots of things in it, masters degree is often concentrated to one specific field and that's why you become master in it :) You can check "Daad" website for the courses, just google "Daad.de" anr go to international programmes. There you'd find lots of options :) All the very best!
Hi, bro. I have a question regarding part time job in Germany. I hope you will answer. If learn german language A2 before coming to Germany, would that be enough to get part time job in smaller cities of Germany. Or i need to have more advanced German language knowledge.
In smaller cities you need more German compared to bigger ones. Usually big cities have more part time job opportunities, but A2 would suffice! However, the more you know German, the better it is No shortcuts :)
