What is KDM Gold?
You cannot differentiate between KDM and non KDM Gold by looking at jewelry. In KDM Gold cadmium alloy metal is mixed to make Gold hard - to make jewelry. You can ask for X-ray test and see the report for other metal in your Gold to know whether your Gold is KDM or not. KDM is banned by BIS since. In KDM - Gold is 92%.
What is 916 Gold?
916 is 22 carat Gold - Contains 91.6 gm of pure gold and rest another alloy like Zinc & Silver. BIS Hallmark with 22 carat, 18 carat & 14 carat. An agency under Government of India, called the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), carries out this process of hallmarking to certify the purity and fineness of a gold item. It ensure that Gold adheres to the international standards of purity under the rules and regulations of the BIS Act of Government.
23C Gold and other Purity of Gold
24 Carat : 24KT is considered the purest form of gold. Better for Investment. Coins and Bars are made of 24 carat. Jewelry not possible as gold is very soft with 24 carat.
23 Carat : Its 95.83% gold
22 Carat : Other metal such as zinc and silver added to make Jewelry.
20 Carat : 83.3%
18 Carat : Preferred for diamond Jewelry
14 Carat : 58.5% Gold

I asked him about price why u took 22carat price instant of 18 carat . He manipulated with words. My mother didnt know about this things. I need help .
