At our recent October Parent Teacher Conference we were very fortunate to have the Acoma- Leguna Buffalo Singers and Dancers from New Mexico in attendance. Noteworthy, the two dancers are former Sherman students. Enjoy the Acoma Laguna Buffalo Singers and Dancers perform the Buffalo Dance.

As I listen and looking around
May sound different
This dance teaching history
While looking, every eye fix
No goofing off or playing around, taking in every move, word, spoken to remember for years to come.. as well as the grown-up, no walking around or something else to do..
As the men dance moves as one, there steps as the change from drums to voice
Loved it. Maybe a video to some if I may say to me its a blessing,
Now the world can listen
That was a gift. years to come.
