The most important part of watching a ceremonial dance is respect and reverence. Thank you for sharing this with me. Really appreciate it and uplifting feeling 🙏
Beautiful tradition, I love the ceremony, I am grateful for SilasJulee1 for sharing the blessing. I wish I could witness 1 of these dances. My Tribe is in Washington St. My son lives in Prescott, AZ. I always tell him if he has a chance to bring home a Hopi girl.
Transcendence through the third eye of consciousness by the effigy of the Buffalo. As source of life. For as long as the sun shines, the grass grows, the rivers flow. Tall Cree to Hopi Nation.
@silasjulee1 I cry everytime I see videos from hopi...it wakes my heart up. We just had zuni long hair dance here in Kewa(Santo Domingo Pueblo) today...it was beautiful and cold! Do you have gmail?
Once the buffalo were in the millions and covered all of this land from sea to sea until the evil whiteman came and slaughtered them by the millions leaving them to rot on the plains almost making them extinct ,yes most First Nations did hunt them but done in a sacred way, asking forgiveness, never wasting any part ,they are our sacred relatives and these dances are mostly to honor them
The sound of drums unites the past with present awesome awesome beautiful I'm glad still this ancient tradition alive and future generations will still dance awesome awesome greetings from the super ancient megalithic antediluvian city of TIAHUANAKU BOLIVIA 🇧🇴 thanks for posting my native American brothers.
Trying not to pry . Would this dance be performed before or after a hunt ? Pays homage and/or respect to the buffalo? Understand 100% if it is something kept strictly among the people and can't be shared .
You do know that when Indians used their early, small stature horses, they couldn't keep up with Buffalo. Then when Europeans brought over their larger horses they could keep up with the animals. Then when the Indians acquired guns they really went to town, killing many buffalo themselves.
@@AnthonyRomero-zr2ww There's channels on youtube saying we that claim to be indigenous are in fact europeans and that the land is truly the african americans lands. My thoughts are that it seems our true identity is scavagened by both the caucasian and the african american along with the land our Father in the heavens borrowed to us. It's a white and black issue in this country, we stay silent unless the health of our Father's earth is in peril. I just feel like I'm once again being robbed of my ancestry. Nothing new, just another division of man to tear, divide us and keep us scattered. Wonder when people will understand We All have the same creator, thus we're All siblings. We should be sharing Love not embracing the world's hate. God bless. By the way we have the same last name.

It's being said that the black man is the real indigenous people of the america's. What are your thoughts?
What have you heard, like what exactly and from whom etc,if you don't mind? Also what are your thoughts on that?
Never heard black people were the real indigenous people
