    Real life DIY video from Bjørn. Not like the other YT videos where everything seems very easy and nothing never goes wrong.
    Pity they are not available until March (s3xyknob in May for Highland)

    Hello Björn! I have had the same problems with my OBD LINK LX - Adapter! After one year I bought a new one (the same, but different with newer firmware) and there are no problems anymore!
    I think there was a faulty generation of this adapters.
    Greetings from vienna👍

      Yes there is a faulty gen.. I had a LX for 10 years and it became faulty without no reason and even OBDlink service was not able to help so they sent me a new one for free with lastest version

    SEXY buttons are one of the greatest Bulgarian products ever!
    They are currently designing a button rack that will fit in middle console slider

    • @adamtm82
      @adamtm82 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you have any details re this button rack? I tried searching the Discord and didn't manage to find any mention of it. I'm keen to get the Commander, but the buttons have always looked pretty tacky to me when stuck in random places, so a proper mount for them would be great.

  • @kristian4559
    @kristian4559 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    bought the sexy knob, mainly to be able to adjust the regen which for some reason tesla doesn't allow you to do, I might get the stalks when they come out, but the buttons are actually far less of a problem than I thought it would be.

  • @Buju7777
    @Buju7777 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    I've also recently received my SEXY buttons and I love the Smart Actions that the Commander provides. Using half-press the rear door handle for 2s will unlock your chargeport if you are using a normal charging cable. This is such a game changer. I don't need to go into the app or tab on the screen to unlock the charging cable after charging. Similar thing is with half-press the front door will open the frunk.
    And the Drift Mode for my Model 3 Long Range was amazing as well 🤩

      Enhance Auto, the company that produces s3xy buttons, previewed a stalk back in September. There’s not a lot of information about it such as what features it offers, price or when it will be available. I wouldn’t bank on this being a solution as could be a long wait (see how long it took to ship their Knob) and the risk a software update could stop it working as it’s directly wired into the var, unlike the s3xy buttons which are wireless.

    • @jimboswe
      @jimboswe 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Can you activate the blinker with current button? Having a small button on the stearing wheel instead of the stalk almost feels like a dealbreker for me. Too many roundabouts where I drive. Having a big button on a static place might work. :)

    Thanks for this great DIY video! Going to get my highland next week, as a data scientist I of course have scanmyTesla on my previous Tesla from 2019, and as far as I understand l, the old cable that I have will not work on the new version? From where did you get it? It seems EMDS does not sell yet the cable adapter for the Highland version? (I just would like the OBD cable)
