    Pretty neat. I’d love one of these. Park the 3 year old in there with me during down time in winter. So expensive though.

    ... There are some pieces of equipment that I actually almost feel guilty about getting paid to operate all day because it is so enjoyable... This would be a prime example right here... There is no doubt that this piece of equipment would be as commonly owned as a lawnmower if they weren’t so much money... I can think of so many uses for this , even if I only had like a half acre or less...this is something that can be used year round, in just about any weather, any environment, and under any conditions...I really wish I had a friend or neighbor who owned one😎

    Thanks for the video !
    I had a 1,100 lbs (5' to 9') metal pless on mine works great but expensive (12,000$) in Quebec.
    Work best with winter tires 10 ply for originally my (Chev Colorado 2009) on my 2011 and 2017 model.

    Thanks for the video. Looks like it's easily pushing some big piles! A couple questions. Are you putting the boom in float when plowing? Also, to keep the blades flat to the pavement with the v-blade in scoop and V orientations is it important that that plow is not tilted forward or backward?

    • @BigBodyPresence
      @BigBodyPresence  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes putting in float. When you start plowing you want to check tilt angle of the plow and then generally you don't need to adjust again when plowing. Kind of a once per plow setting, then you just pull back and forward on the joy stick to lift plow up and down without affecting tilt. The V-blade will still stay flat on the ground this way.

      @@BigBodyPresence Thanks! I'm running a UW56 with the 72" V-Plow. I've found the same thing regarding tilt and found its mostly set it once per session, but at times it seems like I need to re-level. Maybe I'm engaging a bit of tilt by accident while plowing. When putting in float, do you gently push the joy stick forward till it detents forward? It seems a bit unsettling to me since to get to float the boom is being pushed down and down forcing. I've not run in float but probably should try. I'm ordering the float kit since my paved driveway has some undulations.

      What is a float kit?

    What you like best for your property: the plow or snowblower?

    • @BigBodyPresence
      @BigBodyPresence  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In our area we kinda need both. Need plow for wet heavy days or early or late season snow removal. Then blower for the rest of the time. I’d say we probably use the blower more.

    Looks like its working OK. Thanks for the video we're looking at buying a toolcat and there's not alot of action out there on the uw series.
    We have a western prodigy plow that's like an 8 ft scoop plow. Do you think it would handle it ok?

    • @BigBodyPresence
      @BigBodyPresence  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah working great. Massive improvement compared to our old bobcat 3650. Yeah that’s why I threw some clips togeather. When we bought it there was no content on the web about it! Trying to fill that void. Yeah I can’t speak to the compatibility of that plow but as long as it fits on a skid steer it should work on the toolcat. This vblade is also 8ft so it will definitely handle it. Overall we are very happy with the purchase of this machine.

    • @BigBodyPresence
      @BigBodyPresence  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jcmccaslin4697 yes using the standard bobcat turf tires. They work great, plenty of traction.

      I put a heavy hitch receiver in the rear and that company also sells John Deere weights and I’ll put 6 70 pound weights on by myself quickly and that gives me great counterweight for the plow and you could still use the tailgate it never hits and then I put studs in the lug tires for an ice storm I was the king I left the studs in year-round. I love it and I drive on blacktop also with no issue. All wheel steer. Absolutely amazing. You just move the machine. You don’t even have to turn your neck.
