How to Replace JBL Quantum 800 or Quantum 600 Headphones Headband Foam Cushion Pad Easily and Cheaply. To do this, you need to buy a replacement headband cushion. The old headband pad is secured in place with plastic hooks, so carefully remove it using a flat screwdriver. Be cautious not to damage the headphones during this step. Before installing the new replacement headband, check how to position it properly to ensure the cushion fits securely. Once you're ready, start by inserting both ends of the cushion as far as possible into the headband body. Then, press the middle section firmly into place.
