Thank you so much for your EQ settings, they make the headset very enjoyable. The flat EQ sounds a little muffled, but yours is awesome! I tried so many headsets the last few months and the 910X is the best package for me. Great sound, good features (like a real chatmix instead of the clunky or software chatmixes a lot of headset offer now). I tried the Nova 7X, Astro A30, Maxwell (great, but I had the common driver mismatch issue) but the 910X is the only one I will keep. Great headset!
Are you able to confirm the chatmix works without any software? Been trying to find a new headset since the Steelseries requires software now and it is NOT liked at all.
Great review man. I really like the way you go over every aspect of these gaming headsets. I would like to hear and see a review of the more budget JBL Quantum 360x that recently released for Xbox and hear your opinion on those.
You're not the only one that would be bothered by the asymmetrical wires on the ear cups. Even though I can't see them with the headset on, it would still bother me. Lol
Ive done some tests today. U need to make a new "EQ and rename it" For example ive done all the first 3 bars totally down and the next bars complete rised up. And then saved this eq. Then launched the xbox and i clearly heard a difference in the eq. So it might save now!
What about the RGB modifications? Does it saved when you change colors? Or it’s going back to « green » when you put it on Xbox? Sorry for my bad English, I’m French ^^
This is correct. I actually do this now and then. RGB lights can also be modified and the modifications will remain on ps5. I'm sure it'll work for xbox too.

I happen upon your channel and i just gotta say the quality of your video is very next level compared to several others i have seen on youtube for headset unbox/reviews so far (which have not been such great quality). And for this reason, you sir just earned a new subscriber. I love great quality tech videos in 4K cos i love to see devices like this in great detail! I have to say thumbs up to you for the amount of detail and info you provided on this device! Im currently torn between JBL 810 & 910. I'm leaning heavily towards the 810 for the price-point but im still trying to confirm if it supports simultaneous wifi & BT use. If it doesnt then i guess i might have to settle for the 910 eventually. Great Video!
So glad i just watched this video I’ve had the 910 since they came out but never liked the sound its was to muffled and bass heavy. I ended up turning to iems but I thought I’d give the 910 another go and after using your EQ I like the sound of them so much more. Great content man
Thanks, really greats review. Btw, I saw there is software update from the JBL Quantum Engine allowing Q910X to save the EQ into the headset after setting into engine. So that consumer can use the customised EQ in the Xbox consoles
Dude ! After I've watched your review on turtle beach stealth pro , and you made me bought them , i now want to know what is your opinion on these . My previous headsets was Penrose x. I am thinking about Maxwell to. I love your reviews. Probably the best ✌️ reviews. Keep up the good work ❤
Keep up the great work, best tech reviewer on youtube in my opinion. I think the mic on this headset is terrible for the price, they could have done much better.
You have been different with the way you review products. Been watching your precious vids too and all are fantastic! I've been using the jbl quantum one for almost 2 years now and i gotta say those are one hell of a headset. Only down sides are it not being wireless and hot ear cushion. Im looking forward too see them have success in the future with all of the products to be released by them. Side question: i've been planning to buy a wireless heqdset and im stuck with 4 products in mind. Hs65 (129$), cloud core wireless (80$), cloud 2 wireless (129$) qnd the black shark v2 pro (120$). Which one is the most worth it out of all 4? Btw all are acceptable price to me. Thanks!
Have you ever tried the Quantum 810? I was using those before I bought my Audeze Maxwwell set, and from your description of the 910, I get the impression that the sound is pretty similar. Considering it runs $199, it feels like it would compete with the updated Blackshark, Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max and others. The features at that price really set it apart, considering you still get the simultaneous BT and ANC (and RGB if you like that sort of thing). I actually got mine for $99 from Amazon on sale, which was absolute insanity. Would you consider doing a review for it/adding it to your roundups of the ~$200 range?

Joe@gadgetrytech And faithful followers: update, I upgraded from the awesome JBL Quantum one today to the Quantum 910x, when you configure the headset in quantum engine, and save your profile while on pC with the dongle connected to the headset, your eq, and settings including rgb transfer over to console. I really understand what good audio is as I’ve been around audio for over 25 years. I’ve tried and tested tons of headsets and headphones I’ve always been a fan of SteelSeries headsets as it suits my hearing for overall imaging and their Nova 7 Wireless is in my opinion the best wireless headset. It has 95% of the sound quality of the Nova Pro Wireless and it’s a lot more comfortable and still has great imaging, but there are headsets out there that’s really cheap to buy and still has really good sound and imaging like the Astro A20 Gen 2 and HyperX Cloud Core Wireless However, I’ve recently gone back to wired and my headset choice for that is the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2. To me it’s superb and it has excellent imaging and in my opinion it’s the only Turtle Beach headset the superhuman is actually worth using I’ve compared my Beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones to the Turtle Beach and in my opinion the Turtle Beach beats that purely for gaming and imaging, but of course can’t be the overall sound quality In gaming I don’t care about actual sound quality. I care about how well the imaging is and how clear I can hear footsteps I went back to game with my SteelSeries Nova 7 Wireless the other day and because I’ve been using a wired headset, it felt like I was missing a lot like imaging and while I heard footsteps, it wasn’t like the wired headset If you’re a desk gamer I highly recommend to stick to wired, but if you’re a sofa gamer then yeah for the convenience use wireless
No custom eq on console for that price is a joke. Also the headset is ugly, why are the wires outside and way too much LEDs. I wouldnt use it if i got it for free.

Year later and it's 150$
Is there a big difference between the 810 and the 910? I don't really know what one to get.
The head tracking feature
I really understand what good audio is as I’ve been around audio for over 25 years. I’ve tried and tested tons of headsets and headphones
I’ve always been a fan of SteelSeries headsets as it suits my hearing for overall imaging and their Nova 7 Wireless is in my opinion the best wireless headset. It has 95% of the sound quality of the Nova Pro Wireless and it’s a lot more comfortable and still has great imaging, but there are headsets out there that’s really cheap to buy and still has really good sound and imaging like the Astro A20 Gen 2 and HyperX Cloud Core Wireless
However, I’ve recently gone back to wired and my headset choice for that is the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2. To me it’s superb and it has excellent imaging and in my opinion it’s the only Turtle Beach headset the superhuman is actually worth using
I’ve compared my Beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones to the Turtle Beach and in my opinion the Turtle Beach beats that purely for gaming and imaging, but of course can’t be the overall sound quality
In gaming I don’t care about actual sound quality. I care about how well the imaging is and how clear I can hear footsteps
I went back to game with my SteelSeries Nova 7 Wireless the other day and because I’ve been using a wired headset, it felt like I was missing a lot like imaging and while I heard footsteps, it wasn’t like the wired headset
If you’re a desk gamer I highly recommend to stick to wired, but if you’re a sofa gamer then yeah for the convenience use wireless
These are heavy 😩
No custom eq on console for that price is a joke. Also the headset is ugly, why are the wires outside and way too much LEDs. I wouldnt use it if i got it for free.
£300 for SBC 😂They must be drunk
this is a trash headphone. sounds good for music and movies but trash in games. headphone pads fell a part after 3 months
never buy anything which has dead console without a single excluive tag...basic common sense
