Everybody in Seaton Devon moaned about the Haven site there (Lyme Bay) and thought it would be nice to have something more upmarket. Bourne Leisure sold the site and they demolished the holiday village. They now have a Tesco superstore and marine properties that no locals can afford. No jobs and the town has died. Be careful what you wish for. It could all be renovated and restored.
We completely agree. There is nothing wrong with the park as it was, bar it needs maintenance and a good scrub. The basicness of the chalets to us is a charm as rather than seeing kids stuck to screens they were playing football etc. There are already plenty of caravans, lodges etc here and the park was always busy, the town was really quiet this year. @outandaboutwithus I know. You can't beat that holiday camp atmosphere can you. Full of colour and alive with people. I would restore it all if I could. Thanks for your report, I always find them interesting and enjoyable.

I really stayed in the Savoy hotel Blackpool Britannia run it's really nice and thy was work going on. The only downside was one of the doors on a room that was being worked on was left open but a part from that it was really nice I just hope thy reopen pontins and do like thy did with standbay Holliday village but not as a adult s only park I'm going to pakefield holiday village in 4=weeks time then EDF take over the side and brean pontins are reopening in 2026 I can't wait I'll going thy for look great video keep up with the good work 😎

My next one is going to be a Britannia hotel's one then butlins skegness after I'm going to butlins tomorrow and pakefield holiday village and the Grand hotel Scarborough and the Beaches hotel in prestatyn so I'm very busy 😊
The Grand in Llandudno has also been given the go ahead for renovation work. We know that alot of their holiday parks and hotels have housed migrants so can only assume they have been making mega profits

Bring back the carry on camping and hi de hi years of the parks. We would love to restore it ourselves too. Thankyou very much 😊

Lodges would make the park look completely different
Anythings better than left to rot but we like old fashioned holidays like it was. Very retro 👌

Britannia invest the bare minimum at all times. This is the golden rule. If lodges are in the offing it must be somebody else paying for them.
