- At the end of 2016, Jaden Smith gave fans an early preview of his 2017 debut album 'SYRE' when he dropped the video for the first single “Fallen,” featuring an infamous vomiting scene set in a deserted Old West town. Over a year later, and the groovy beats and dream-inspired vision from producer IQ are still holding up well, with “Fallen” currently sitting at over 24 million TH-cam views.

This song is what really made me love jaden music and I thought the background vocals were a sample also but hearing how the whole process came together is fire 🔥 this song is euphoric and soothing and jadens calm voice gives it that gloss. This song is addictive

Personally, this has always been my favorite song off of the record. It's always felt amazing to me, and it stuck as just a really nice emotional song for a while since I listened to it on SYRE's release day. Then a year or two later, during such a moment of passion my then girlfriend and i kissed as the drums came in for the song and the way we embraced felt so magical. That moment is so vivid and I can feel that pull in my stomach and warmth in my heart every time I listen to this song.
Hands down one of the best tracks Jaden has put out. Shout out to IQ, truly an amazing tune.
From time to time, I come back here and watch this video again. This made me appreciate even more a song that I already loved. The creative process is crazy, the way he built that sound is simply fantastic.

Maaan I've never heard of IQ (no disrespect intended), but I'm hella glad I watched this video. Real respect to him, he made such a beautiful beat for a song I now love and he explained what he did really well, all while remaining humble throughout the interview, so this is a great video to watch for anyone who does anything artistic I guess, it's the vibe and the emotion.
And what he said at the end really hit me: "That's the reason why, like, we even make music, it's for it to last. So, if it doesn't sound like it can last, and like, can affect people for generations to come, then there's no reason for you to make it." Those sentences had me smiling, I feel like I really needed to hear that. This interview was truly inspiring, good vibes to him (and to anyone who read this, have a great day :D).
