I think Rell is trying to understand the process for himself and I think he was asking in general how to learn. Before I became a producer I was a rapper and I asked the same when I was a teen
@@algoriithmtheproducer Oh for sure I've been the clueless rapper at one point I think we all have. But the producer is fronting hard as though he really playing when he is using a VST where hitting ONE KEY plays a whole riff. "Yeah I be messing with some chords" gtfoh that was just funny to me lol
Right ? Like hit boy is from Cali he should know not to ask trell about x4 knowing the 40's don't get along with Hoovers this isn't some new gang beef that just started everybody knows neighborhoods don't get along with the hoover .
Dope to see Hit-Boy's creative process. Him and Nas need to put together a visual project showing the behind the scenes making of both the KD and Magic series. Lol at him asking TRell what he thinks of X4. So random.
@jackedkerouac4414 I never used the ball but I think when you stick to one daw and have a big keyboard on your desk as part of your flow that the ball is easier than a mouse. I can also imagine that that ball takes time getting used to and that the learning curve isn’t worth it for people who don’t have a big keyboard in front of them as their regular flow.
I can see how close I am yet so far away. It’s like being a good high school hooper but no one thinking you going to the league. A six foot one point guard type ish
@@badboy69canceris this one of the better ways to have multiple chops and assign them to the keyboard? I know slicex is good for sampling but it seems basic? Just trying to learn thanks
@@dubzy21 SliceX is deep bro. One of the most capable out there once you start digging in Anything that can be done in Edison can be done in SliceX. You should get to know it. I think you would be surprised.
For the seasoned producers it’s not hard to make a track in front of anyone when you really are a producer, there are so many dope producers out here that haven’t been discovered yet. Just like HIT it just takes the right person to hear your beats, the right artist rapping or singing on your beats. and it’s over! Hit got skills for sure!
lol that’s the shell on god I say the same thing I always create a shell then the beat can go crazy either way all you doing is adding and enhancing man thank yall for this video fr
Playing with some fire samples then end up making something totally different.. it be like that sometimes lol. or maybe he had some crazy ideas and didn’t wanna give up the sauce on cam
He makes alot of beats from scratch, The Last beat in this video was made from scatch, He was just playing around with samples in the begining trying to catch a vibe
Bro its so hard to catch a pocket on a beat being interviewed too. Hitboy is a goat haha
Yo Kyle this shit crazy
Lmaoo fr I’d be stopping mid sentences too
It's hard kylebeats is paying attention to back on fig
this is why i restrict who i add to the studio because being asked so many questions disturbs my work flow
Kyle we need to hear you chop some soul too
Hit Boy is like a hybrid between the 90s boom bap era to modern day. It' his moment. Ride that wave homie...
😂 Imagine tryna make a beat with Trell over your shoulder the whole time lmaoo
Separate the men from Boyz lol, when you in studio with people and you gotta show case your talent you better not fold lmao
Easy. We do that in the studio with about 10 fools in there… That’s why you practice…
Plays one note samples using serato……
“Daaaaamn when did you learn to play the keyboard!?””
“Ohh I be messing around with chords….”
😮😂😂😂

@@algoriithmtheproducerlol word. I remember back when I didn’t even know what a producer was and I thought all rappers made their beats themselves 😅😂
He did do some pretty nuanced chords though if you watched the entire thing
Dudes like you get caught up over semantics and technicalities but all your beats is straight ass

Hitboy has crazy talent. Hip hop needs more producers like him
I'm glad Hit boy getting all the love he deserves
Asking trell how he feels about x4 had me crying 😂😂😂
“He tight” 💀💀💀

Nasir cuhh where you at? lmaoooo
ey man, all the good questions, love this video! 2 real dudes having a real convo!
Thanks for posting this! Much love from Las Vegas
0:48 an absolute waste of time to have an interviewer this clueless about the topic at hand
The best doggone producer in the game right now, no one's touching bro 🔥🔥
Hitboy too cold 🚧🚧 need more interviews like this
2:23 big hit on a mission god bless to both of y’all

He still had his focus on the Beat at the same time. That's dopeee
“He ain’t even really did nothin, and I luh dis shit…”
Finally someone asking all the questions we have
SERATO SAMPLE IN FL STUDIO IS 🔥🔥🔥
SliceX FTW!
"From scratch" what bros starting from a sample😂
It’s still from scratch if you really pay attention
Exactly.. the sample is most of the song! There's no "from scratch" going on.
@@Stummpmusic fam that’s like saying you didn’t cook yo 🥚 🍳 from scratch because you got it from the store and not the chicken🤔
okay lil bro🙏😭
@@GravitationObservation19416 lmao

Hit one of them ones I wanna do a project with 1 day
3:32 Sample for Rakim - Finest Ones
Only producer I know that still uses a trackball 😭 GOATED
You can work quicker and more efficiently why would a producer still wanna use a mouse?

Inspiring. I wished he had used his MPC live 2.
Bro stru let him make the bro 😂
"It the way that it hits" 😁
Bruh asked some goofy ass questions 🤣 first time in the studio?
Most viewers prob never been in the stu and have the same questions tho
The guy in red looking highly impressed, if he had taken lessons and learned how to produce he wouldn't be so impressed. It's just modern technology.
Does anyone know the name of the keyboard is using here?
What software is he is using right here? Thanks
Serato Sample loaded into FL Studio.

Fruity slicer still better than serato minus the stem separator
i see more and more people are doing music production on laptop over desktop
He’s not human 😂😂😂
I didn't really hear about Hit until Nas but he one of my favorite
You must know SanFran going back to the SB❤ Dope Jacket
