How does a beginner get into coding? I have an RHIT and CCS through AHIMA (2018) and recently completed a BAS in Healthcare Management (2024) but can't seem to get a coding job without experience. :(

I was a medical transcriptionist as well and left the field in 2016. I am in billing at the moment and transitioning to coding now. It's amazing how the transcription industry changed so much around that time. I was an MT for 15 years.
