- When doing construction projects, especially in the rainy season, there is always a lot of stress with the weather rapidly changing from day to day, we tried to get the footers dug and poured before the rain came. Unfortunately, it poured down rain, causing some challenges to get the job !
Thank you for choosing to watch our channel and the progress we have made so far on our 52 acre farm. We enjoy making upgrades to the property whether it's access roads, or installing large and small, barns, equipment, storage buildings, running heavy equipment, and giving a home to a miniature pony and miniature donkey. We like to give others ideas of how we operate things on our property. We don't claim to be professionals, but we like to share our opinion and views. we are very much open for suggestions or opinions in a respectful manner to further our progress, on making things safer for us in the future. We thank each and every one of you for your input and continued support through this journey!

Will be here to see what is going on buddy. Wow, the ground seemed pretty good and packed and then those big boys came on in. Your ditches look good and you will have a nice footer to build on. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching buddy 💪🏼
The entire construction process can be stressful, but especially pouring concrete because it is so time sensitive! Glad it worked out for you. Thanks for sharing. - Rick
It really is!
I can't wait to do the same when i retired ( next year perhaps !!! ) : ) Keep Up Your OUTSTANDING Work and Videos Sir Cheers !!! ( yes a strong road is very important !!! )
Thank you sir
This is great Tom. It looks like the ground held up enough to get the trucks in and out. I hoping it's drys up and stays dry for a while.
I’ve been hauling in some number threes to try to tighten up the soft spots 👍
yes sir!
Coordinating equipment and jobs can be stressful but it all worked out. Enjoying the process. Thanks for taking us along Tom. Have a great week, Ben 👍
Sure is ! Thanks Ben,. Have a good week.
Footing looks good. Your guys did a great job getting all the mud out. It take a while to get the road the way you want, but keep adding more gravel and it will eventually get thick enough to pack. I had to add about 40 more yards of material than I had figured on, because of soft spots on my road....I also got on it with the compactor every time it rained. It tightened it up good.
Thanks for the info. Yeah, it took a long time for the front half of the road to get tight.
Progress! The current stress will be worthwhile once it's finished. Take care.
Thank you sir
Good deal, glad you were able tie get it poured and no one got stuck.
Thanks buddy ! Yeah, I got lucky this time of year is rough doing construction
Hey Tom , yes sir . I would have been stressed to the max . Nice job and looking forward to the next video !! 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thank you Del things are coming along quickly that’s for sure and the money is leaving the bank account just as quick 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Glad you got that poured, and you got trucks in and out safely. That soft ground could reek havoc on those concrete trucks. On to the next step. 👍🏻
Right on 👍
Stress full day Tom. Great that it got done. If that was me doing that. My luck would have been the sides of the trenches falling in. That part of the ground must be fairly solid.
Have a great day. 👋👋👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah, it was a little stressful, but it always works out eventually 🤣
👍🏻👍🏻
I’m glad you were able to get the footing done even though you got a lot of rain 👍🏻
Yeah, got lucky !
You look very stylish in this video. I am pleased to be the person that posts the first comment on this video.
Thank you sir
@@fatefarmspa You are welcome.
👍👍
👍
Good to hear you got it done! It can only get better now eh. Cheers, Mike.
Yeah, the weather is all over the place they were laying block today and you would get sunburnt 🤣
Hi there Mr. Tom. You’ve got quite the project going on. The last truck you had come through that you had video on. Man I thought he was going down. You have enough going on ,so I will shutu up this time. Have you got that elevator started yet. Paul Bunyan is getting closer. Ok that’s enough. I see blocks on your next video. I’ll watch that too. Take care my friend. Al
Haha. Funny thing is I built the elevated stand then really haven’t had much time to use it. There’s a little break in the action with the building and some heavy rain coming in Saturday so I’m hoping to get some rounds cut up and staged inside for something to do are you going to Paul Bunyan Show this year?
@@fatefarmspa we are as long as we stay healthy.
Good to know you got that roller !! 😂
Yeah, when it says running, I hate even using it anymore. Seems like every time I turn a key it breaks down. 🤣
I’m sure you’re glad that’s over. The road is a mess and will require lots of gravel to fix.
Yeah, I’ve been hauling in loads of bigger gravel to try to tighten things up
