Someone should hold a birthday project to gather short letters that tells him what he means to us (there's a bd project to Hoseok similair way but quite different) and how much we love him. Maybe tell him that he can fly and keep on going. We see him improving even if he might not know it. Praise him. Or gather small piece of papers which each hold sentences from Jin stans, showing that we support him, believe in him, pep talk etc. When he needs it he can pick a piece of paper from the box (?)/glass jar(?) and read. I’m so glad Jin is getting more attention and recognition now... when I first became an army, he was really unappreciated and you rarely saw Jin fans but now I see people with Jin profile pics, RJ merch, etc. I still don’t think he’s as appreciated as he should be. His voice is so beautiful. All the members deserve the same amount of love. If you can’t love all 7 then you’re not an army.

Honestly, listen to this song makes me understand a bit more about Jin and how he feels as a member of BTS. When i try to put myself in his position, i found it sad, so sad that it makes him write these lyrics, just try to imagine that you arent good at dance ( compare to Hopie, Jimin, Kookie), you cant rap ( Rap Mon, Hopie, Suga), you can sing but usually dont have much line (tons of BTS songs TT_TT) and EVENTHOUGH you're visual, Kookie and Tae usually get most of the attentions and stand in middle AND ABOVE ALL you're OLDEST ONE (this may makes him feels very discourage as a hyung and he will have to serve in the military sooner than other members). I agree with you, hyung line is really underrated. I never had a bias in BTS bc i love them all for different reasons and they're all talented. When i first started to listen to bts i thought that jin had a really big fanbase bc he's so handsome and also sings like an angel but then i found out that he's one of the most underrated member and i'm just really disappointed. He didn't even got a single line in bs&t, his covers aren't really appreciated while his "mom" cover was the first bts cover/song that made me really cry. This solo is also my favorite track in the album. I'm so happy for hoseok tho, in this comeback he has so many lines and he's finally getting the attention that he really deserves. I'm not an Army but I absolutely adore the Wings album so much. Each of the songs all hold such deep and personal meaning, I can't help but feel emo when listening. This song in particular because its meaning makes me feel so sad for Jin. Rather than feeling remorseful by the fact that he thinks he has no potential, it's as if he's saying that he already understands potential was something never meant for him. That he's 'wide awake' and has come to terms with the thought that he won't ever match up to the other members. Yet he still wants to struggle and pursue the harsh lifestyle of an idol--to be judged and criticized, but as long as he's at it, he'll hold the members close and not give up. Even on variety shows, Jin always says that his looks are what make him special as if it's the only outstanding thing about him. But no, Jin. This song is proof that you can fly, that you can reach greater heights. He tries so hard to keep up with the other members and has such a kind heart. It was October 28th 2016. This was the first BTS song I listened to. I instantly felt understood, I instantly had a place I could comfortably cry. I followed BTS and supported them wholeheartedly for 3 more years after that. Things happened and I didn't have time for music anymore. I didn't have time to sit on social media, watch new releases, watch V-LIVE. I had a lot of happiness in those 3 years, and I had a reason to keep living. I don't listen much to BTS anymore, and I don't know how they are. I hope they're well. But I still come back to this song, I reminisce about how I was sitting on the edge of death, I was ready to leave the world until I found this song. I reflect on how far I've come since then. But thank you, Jin. You saved my life. And I know you saved many more people's lives too.

It breaks my heart to know that Jin calling himself Worldwide Handsome was just to hide his pain and insecurities 😢 Jin can fly as high as the rest of BTS But if he couldn’t, the other member would hold him up so he could fly beside them or they would walk on the ground by his side. Jin is the foundation of BTS, without him they would be lost. Their vocals would never be as strong and beautiful without him. Take Jin away and BTS would collapse (metaphorically) He’s part of the group for a reason. If Namjoon, Hoseok, Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, and Yoongi can fly so can Jin or none of them can. I feel the same way I am an only child so I had only my cousins who did so well like scoring in the top of the state and getting the best math while I was here with my mental problems not doing too great in school. My parents would be so disappointed and mad at me and never asked me why I was upset, it felt like I had a mask on. I felt like I could never be amazing like my cousins or the daughter that my parents wanted.

I will never understand why people say Jin is not talented because it's just not the truth. He's so damn hard working. He practices his dances well and compared to all the other members, we know how much more difficult it is for him yet he just keeps on working hard and tbh, when I wasn't into BTS and i would look at their dance videos because I accidentally happened to stumble upon them, I couldn't even point out that he had difficulties in doing them and grasping them. Since I started listening and paying more attention to BTS in 2015, Jin has always been my favorite. I don't know what it was about him, but I never once thought that this guy was untalented. idk why but after seeing taejin argument on burn the stage episode, i came back here... when he's already trying his best with the spring day choreo but somehow it wasn't good enough, how jin confessed that even though he's bright and happy, he's sometimes depressed, how he was the one who apologized and took the blame in order to continue the concert for the sake of BTS... the lyrics of these songs shows how much jin struggles and sacrifices and yet he still "clutches the six flowers in his hand"

I agree with you, hyung line is really underrated. I never had a bias in BTS bc i love them all for different reasons and they're all talented. When i first started to listen to bts i thought that jin had a really big fanbase bc he's so handsome and also sings like an angel but then i found out that he's one of the most underrated member and i'm just really disappointed. He didn't even got a single line in bs&t, his covers aren't really appreciated while his "mom" cover was the first bts cover/song that made me really cry. I'm not an Army but I absolutely adore the Wings album so much. Each of the songs all hold such deep and personal meaning, I can't help but feel emo when listening. This song in particular because its meaning makes me feel so sad for Jin. Rather than feeling remorseful by the fact that he thinks he has no potential, it's as if he's saying that he already understands potential was something never meant for him. That he's 'wide awake' and has come to terms with the thought that he won't ever match up to the other members. Yet he still wants to struggle and pursue the harsh lifestyle of an idol--to be judged and criticized, but as long as he's at it, he'll hold the members close and not give up. Even on variety shows, Jin always says that his looks are what make him special as if it's the only outstanding thing about him. But no, Jin. This song is proof that you can fly, that you can reach greater heights. He tries so hard to keep up with the other members and has such a kind heart. It was October 28th 2016. This was the first BTS song I listened to. I instantly felt understood, I instantly had a place I could comfortably cry. I followed BTS and supported them wholeheartedly for 3 more years after that. Things happened and I didn't have time for music anymore. I didn't have time to sit on social media, watch new releases, watch V-LIVE. I had a lot of happiness in those 3 years, and I had a reason to keep living. I don't listen much to BTS anymore, and I don't know how they are. I hope they're well. But I still come back to this song, I reminisce about how I was sitting on the edge of death, I was ready to leave the world until I found this song. I reflect on how far I've come since then. But thank you, Jin. You saved my life. And I know you saved many more people's lives too.

Since I started listening and paying more attention to BTS in 2015, Jin has always been my favorite. I don't know what it was about him, but I never once thought that this guy was untalented. I hope people can see that he works just as hard as the other members do. It breaks my heart that he so directly sings about his concerns but tries to mask it just a little so maybe others won't catch on. As soon as this album came out I listened to this song before even listening to the title track, and I'm honestly there for Jin 100% of the way, and for the other members too! Although it's just a song, I would be so heartbroken if Jin ever left BTS. It must be hard for him as the oldest member to watch all of his younger members succeed "more" than he does. Seokjin, we love you!! Never give up!

Why does listening to this makes me cry? Jin is the greatest thing that ever happened to BTS. Imagine BTS without Jin, it's not fun, not complete. We all know that he has a golden voice but gets the least parts but we love him all as one! We love him not just a bias but as the sweetest, kindest and most caring person that is in BTS. idk why but after seeing taejin argument on burn the stage episode, i came back here... when he's already trying his best with the spring day choreo but somehow it wasn't good enough, how jin confessed that even though he's bright and happy, he's sometimes depressed, how he was the one who apologized and took the blame in order to continue the concert for the sake of BTS... the lyrics of these songs shows how much jin struggles and sacrifices and yet he still "clutches the six flowers in his hand"
