I don’t know if you’ll reply to this but I’ve been trying to wheelie my whole life and I have the same bike as you. I watched every video of this series and now I can wheelie for days. This is the only video that’s helped me. THANKS
@@Thegpguy I ended up replacing my air filter because it was really old and clogged. But honestly this bike always been very cold blooded, takes a while to warm it up, even when it’s warm outside. I have to always use the choke for 5 to 10 minutes first, then I can turn the choke off and it will idle. I really believe my bike could use some different jetting in the carburetor. But I typically warm it up by starting it and riding off right away that it will warm up faster.
Yo so when the bike is rolling how you pop it up? Like do you pop the clutch in second and third gear and when u pop it u give it a lot of gas and lean back alot?
th-cam.com/video/_12I6Xelwuk/w-d-xo.html Watch this video, it’s part 3 of how to wheelie and it goes over everything you just asked Hope it helps you! 💪🏽💪🏽
Yo quick question how do you keep the bike up at balance point? Like do u have to hold the bike with your arms or do you use throttle control to keep it up or is it a mix of both?
Use the throttle to stay there. If you are using your arms the hole time to keep the bike up, then you are not leaning far back enough and your arms will get tired fast. I only pull the bike up with my arms when it starts to fall too far down while I’m giving gas. This bike doesn’t have much power to gas up by itself once it falls past a certain point.
@@RobertRoach808 So your saying I gotta drop back more on the bike to get it to balance point and than to actually keep it there I have to work on throttle control? Also I appreciate you answering and helping me out
If you are just starting out learning wheelies, this is a very comfortable bike to learn on. I suggest going to the dealer and sitting on one and see how you feel. Thanks for watching💪🏽💪🏽
I own a brand new crf125 big wheel and I been trying to wheelie but I saw another comment asking what gear you pop up in and you said first gear and from my riding on the crf125 first gear is so short I feel like I may damage the bike by riding at to high of an rpm what’s your thoughts on this
You have to keep it in the low RPMs and lean back further. If you are at the top of the RPM range, that means you aren’t leaning back far enough to get into the balance of point. It should look and sound just like how I do it in the video
Yo im getting the hang of it but i need help with the brake control, everytime i try to tap it lightly i end up just hitting the brake too hard and im wondering if u think I should loosen up my rear brake a little bit or know any techniques to help me not hit the brake as hard
@@RobertRoach808 but what if I’m only stuck with the big bike 125. It is my first bike and my only bike. Would it be hard for me to wheelie. I can only put 1 foot on the ground but can cover the back break. Thanks for the tutorial btw

Give it more gas before you let the clutch out. You are letting it out too early.
