@@Texas_Cruiser Exactly but anytime your the #2 ranked Sprinter as a Prep you have the potential to be a World Class Sprinter...The #1 Prep sprinter that year William Jackson was the only person to beat him twice

If we took all the NFL’s top 15-20 fastest players, more than half were Raiders…… Rocket, Jett, Graddy, Gault, Bo, Cliff Branch, James Trapp, Ron Brown, Alexander Wright, Jacoby Ford, Henry Ruggs, Demarcus Van Dyke, Rod Woodson, Darren McFadden, JJ Nelson, Randy Moss, Darius Hayward Bey. Raiders vs the rest of the NFL Combined in all sprints, 40, 60, 100 and 200. I’m definitely missing others like Fabian Washington, Napoleon Kauffman. Etc.
Raghib"The Rocket"Ismail was great in my book. But I just wish he would have a little bit longer carrier in The NFL. And Raghib Ismail, Jr. Plays at The University of Wyoming. In which I was shocked to find out.
Not as fast as Hill. He wasn't the #1 receiver for the majority of his career. In Oakland Tim Brown was the man. In Carolina he led the team 1 time, but on that team was Rae Carruth, Wesly Walls, Mark carrier and Mushin Muhammed. At Dallas he led twice. Was hurt another year, and had Joey Galloway.
His PB is a 10.20 he ran during his senior year in HS at Wilkes Barre, how in the world can a guy run only 10.61 if he consistently ran in the 6.1 in 55 meters? He barely trained outdoors due to his full time commitment in football.
Where is this 10.20 information? Never mind, I see it, May 20, 1988 in Wilkes Barre, PA. It was hand timed so it's not legal. web.stanford.edu/~clint/100m_nfl.htm His best official documented 100m was here in Philadelphia at the Penn Relays 10.61. articles.baltimoresun.com/1991-04-28/sports/1991118156_1_penn-relays-tony-barton-ismail. There was areported 10.34, but that also was not confirmed because no one knows how it was timed. BTW outdoor track for colleges runs from April to end of June. it doesn't interfere with football.
His brother was just as effective. Quadry 353- 5137- 33 TD. ROCKET 363- 5295 - 28TD. That’s about as even as you can get. Quadry played 1993-2002 and Rocket 1993-2001. Rocket did have a rushing advantage of 423yards and 2 TD’s to 25 and 0 for the Missle. In the playoffs Missle 18-287-0 and Rocket 9-187-0. They were BOTH good. Rocket HALL OF FAME NCAA player though.
At 4.28 40-time he was one of the fastest football players EVER. Should have beaten Detmer for the Heisman. Would have been the #1 NFL draft if he didn't pick the CFL instead. Not only was he almost the fastest, but also the highest paid football player in history (at the time) as "his yearly salary was then the largest in Canadian or American football history", according to his wiki page. His salary was higher than the cap of some ENTIRE TEAMS in the CFL. Holy crap!
He woulda won the award had they not given the award before all the regular season games were decided. Detmer had a poor game in Hawaii and BYU lost right after he won the award.
Yeah I agree with you big time I mean he it sucks because he was way better than what he got credit for he is the symbolism of what the plans are today.
