What they have done is elevating the s&v to a percentage game. Set up a s&v with the rallies and then go for the net. what happened in the initial games of the first set? Djokovic was slipping so many times, it must be his shoes, had it been the court itself, Wawrinka would have felt it too.
i guess the floor hasn't been cleaned thoroughly before the match. or his shoes collected too much dust somewhere and weren't gripping the floor. that's why on indoor floors i always bring an old towel to pour water on it and clean the soles as much as possible to make sure it grips well. bad injuries can happen because of that. better be safe and cautious about it.
