What a stunning Chateau. Superbly presented and restored. …in a very low key way……an example to be followed…..there are other chateau owners who don’t know what low key means. Those bed head canopies are magnificent. Beautiful all round

I like what a light touch he uses - leaving a lot in original condition and keeping things simple and following themes as well. Very lovely.
This is really on a class of it own amongst french Château restoration videos , nice to see the owners restaurers are for a change French. Most french Château restoration videos are by English, American and Australian owners, nothing wrong with this. The french buying and restauring their unique historical architectural heritage adds extra authenticity and charm.

one of the most amazing castles ive seen on this channel. My senses were fully satiated by the stunning beauty and history preserved here. The two owners must be truly dedicated to bringing it back to life with such amazing results.
I am not surprised how wonderfully interiors look when I see who are the owners. I love their Parisian residence with XVII and XVIII furniture and I admired their work in Hotel de la Marine which was reopened lately. Really great work! One of best museums for XVIII century marvels to visit in Paris - feels animated, inviting and genuine!

strange to think that the current owners have basically become custodians of someone else's family history - they have no personal connection, they are curators, they seem like polite intruders
They do have personal connection because they renovated and redecorated this chateau with huge care, knowledge and love for art and history. For information these two guys are one of best specialist of historical interior design in France. Lately they redesign interiors of Hotel de la Marine in Paris. Do you think this place was just bought in perfect shape with all that inside? How naive one need to be? On the other site for family of previous owners it was obviously not so important or/and to expensive to keep it longer.

This is beautiful, however the gentleman who is part of the purchase in 2015, is a bit sarcastic and thinks he is cute or something. Reporting the death of a child from that one room, you will know who I’m talking about.out of anyone in that family they had him doing most of the talking. He is old and out of breath and he should have a cardiac check up.something is going on with his mitral valve. He should just retire.
