My wife and I were on that cruise! We had a lanai room on the lower promenade deck, with glass doors that opened right onto the promenade deck (with reserved loungers outside the room!) We really liked the Vollendam. Thanks for posting the video and pictures of the suite so we can see what they were like.
I enjoyed your comment ! How did you like the Lanai Room vs. getting a Veranda Room (aside from the cost savings angle). I often think about getting the Lanai Room but am concerned someone would ignore those chaise lounge reserve signs and park their butts there LOL !!! Cheers !!!
@@marciasanguinetti3900 We really liked the Lanai Room - having the reserved loungers was nice. Only one time was there someone sitting on our lounger and I pointed out that it was reserved and they moved. There are other non-reserved loungers people can use. We liked being right on the promenade.
