I just bought mine and when it came in my wires in the middle two panels got stuck and pinched badly. I had to return it as I knew the wire would be damaged. There is some quality control issues and possibly Amazon selling returns as new when they are damaged or defective. $600 you expect that each system should have been opened and closed to make sure the wires go through the grommets. The 2 end panels worked fine but the middle wire would not slide like it should. Also the packing material could have been better, the handle was all scuffed up because there is no padding for the handle. I do wonder if they send out checked models to review?

Bummer. Did you get it replaced?

@@DefiantOffroad Amazon only allowed me to refund for money and could be a month before I get the refund. I am still toying with giving this company another chance or just using Hard panels in series which is cheaper, but a hassle. The grommet was defective as I could not easily pull the wire through to help the pinched wire, the two sides were fine, it was just the middle. I think the main thing is that could have been avoided by someone checking the panel out before it left. There was a time when people would never put up with this 20%+ defective products, it was bad enough 24 years ago with 10% defective, but QC is very important. How is your wiring doing did you check to see if its pinching? I noticed it by seeing a stress mark on the red wire first, then when I played with it looking closing I noticed the pinching happening. This would just cause this $600 panel to fail much faster than their 3000 times.

I dont know if ive read it wrong on the Renogy website, but according to the specs, there is very little difference in power generation between the 200w and 400w panels. Im trying to decide which one to get.

I would say it comes down to what your setup is. What type of vehicle you be hauling them in?
