My dad is a doctor back home in India. Whenever he comes to Canada he does not like the medical system here. He says that in India the medical system is so good u pay for it & get the treatment as soon as possible.😊👍
In India the Hospitals have started becoming greedy and have become a Money sucking machine. Now a days they want to perform too many unwanted blood tests to build up the bill using scare tactics and unless u pay the Demand draft / cash they dont see you. India health care is only good if you have ready cash to hand out.
I know of a friend whose both parents are doctor's in a government hospital & have a clinic at home with a test lab & use to do things like that for patients who went to them were told to do all the test so that they could make money. But my dad would always tell the patient that u need only which test they really needed. So not to waste their money on doing all unwanted test which was prescribed by other doctor's who wanted to make money. So other doctor's never liked what my dad told the patients.😊
I once had flu and i made a mistake of going to emergency. It was after hours so all the clinics nearby were closed. I waited 6 hours straight in ER with only 2 people in. I went to ask receptionist if I could go outside and get something to eat as I was hungry and she told me if i go back they’ll take me off their list and I have to register again. At this point I lost it and made a scene and went back home sick. Health care system is not absolutely free in Canada. Its very absurd and frustrating.
Don't live in large cities. The hospitals in large cities of Canada cannot handle the increased patients due to mass immigration. They were not planned for that. Places like Brampton, Scarborough, Mississauga are a disaster. I live in a small city of 100,000 in Ontario and we get prompt medical care.
Kudos for a non-diplomatic post! A lot of blogges try to find a sweet spot to avoid bashing/controversy but you were blunt! Thanks for your honesty. I stayed in Canada for 2 years, had an amazing career, worked with fortune 500 brand but moved back to Delhi for the same reason. My friend's mother died, despite having a kidney doner because she got a 6 months waiting time for the transplant. That was shocking and disappointing for me and my wife and we decided to take a u-turn and came back to India. I still miss a lot of things that Canada offers but still I am more happy in India now.
Had to visit emergency in markham and waited for 6 hours in extreme pain...pain went away on it's own as it was gallbladder pain. After that experience, always pray that no one has to go through hospital experience in Canada.
Ufff so frustrating to hear all that. I am a doctor and know that DVT is a serious medical emergency.. And keeping a patient of DVT waiting for so long is a sin. Hoping and praying for your speedy recovery. Love from Pakistan.
In dec 2013 My clots moved from leg's deep vein and got rooted at RV ( fortunately) and had to operate for removal of RV Myxoma. It was a major open heart surgery. All is well now and i m on anticoagulant (pradaxa 150mg) for lifetime to avoid recurrence. I was 29. Take care bro. It is really serious.
Bhai take care and be healthy . I would like to share my experience in delhi. I live in delhi. My wife had pain in stomach many times at night. I have rushed her to hospital and had a doctor within 3-4 minutes in emergency and pain killer instantly. Patient from all over the world come to delhi for treatment. Its not worth moving to canada where we pay huge taxes and get very bad health care.
I’m from Canada living in Whitehorse. I’ve literally got my health destroyed by the hospital here. We have indeed the worst healthcare in the world right here in Whitehorse Yukon Canada
Canada Healthcare is advanced but not made to handle a large population. India is way better than any other country as far as healthcare is concerned. There are some issues like unorganized things but Covid has shown the reality to all the developed countries who advertised their so-called "Best in Class" healthcare system.
We have personally witnessed and faced 4 incidents since we moved to Canada from the US an year back. What you have went through is a no different from what me and my friends went through. We shall be moving back to the US once the borders open up. An year stay here has changed my perspective on this place. Healthcare was one of the primary reasons for the decision.
my son had a a fracture and had to go for surgery. My son had so much anxiety because he is a special child and he was crying the whole 7 hrs in the waiting room. They have protocols and 5 attendant came asking same thing again n again before junior surgeon came to check him. Though everyone wS very polite but I literally begged them to pls take for the surgery or give him something so he could sleep. He was on drip and surgery finished at 10 and 12:30 they discharged us. No wheel chair provided, my son was bare chest bcoz suddenly they discharge us(my son was crying and making noises) without t-shirt I took him holding him and his fractured arm at 1am waiting for my husband to come from Brampton to Toronto. My son was 7 years old.
Yes, The medical in Canada is free but not easy to access.I have the same experience like yours, waiting is so very long.I waited for doctor from 10 pm to next day 11 am.The same questions were asked by so many people that you will be tired...This is something very strange.I value India even more after this incident.Good wishes to you for fastest recovery.
Yes, you are right, I waited in emergency for eye problem for more than 6 hours than one doctor check me and told me that specialist is not available today so we will call you whenever they are available, I got call after 1 month that doctor is available today. In between I went to india done with my treatment and back to Canada
I’ve been to the ER about thrice here in Toronto, each time I’ve been alone they never let anyone inside and it’s very normal to wait about 6-7 hours before a doctor comes to see you. One the reasons why I would never want to be in this country in my later years.
I always used to think that health care in Canada is the best. After listening to you, I realized that the reality is something else. I live in Germany and experienced emergency situation. The emergency response was 10 mins after I called for the medical help. I was hospitalized in next 20 minutes. Treatment started immediately in the hospital and I was released in 3 hours time with medication.
The time waiting and caring are two different things. Healthcare remains the best, wait you must. Same with us in US, unless it is not a heart related or a wound or serious injury, the emergency room will make you wait. However, we have urgent care that is 5 to 10 minutes wait only removes the burden of the emergency room visit.
Everything is covered in germany from hospitalisation to medications. Australia and Canada the medical system is highly disappointing. After living there. Germany is good in terms of healthcare
@@jaithak7267 us has private insurance system so wait times are very less compared to Canada ,you can have almost any surgery in minimal wait times unlike Canada ,they are not even comparable
Appointment after 3 months!! Iss baat ki toh koi sense hi nhi banti. Thank you for sharing your honest raw experience. I pray you get well soon 🙏🙏 Careless doctors, mismanagement of hospitals and poor healthcare facilities is making us lose trust in doctors today! which is really sad.
I had a lump on my kidney which was diagnosed in October and the specialist gave me a tele appointment (over the phone due to covid) for March the 26th, health care system is a joke here please do not risk it if you already have health concerns.
3 months? In UK you have to wait upto a year for knee replacement as it's not considered as life threatening. But I must admit once you're seen by the doctor you can rest assured. One time the after care was really good. I found the nurses from West Indies were very caring. But now a days they have nurses from Philippines and other non English speaking countries with low pay and the standard has gone down.
You could not have put it any better. This is the actual situation here. That is why people have to go to India to get their treatment done on time. Really a patehtic situation but yes, it is ..... Get well soon Harmeet and Stay strong Manpreet!
Bhai take care, few risk factors to avoid : prolonged sitting, smoking, maintain a health weight. I am a physician and can understand your position . Their system is quite different then India. Hope you get well soon !!
I am really sorry to hear that you had terrible experience. I live in brampton and in last month I have visited emergency room twice. I am pregnant and having sever nausea and vomiting. My experience was the worst and I also had to go through the same frustrating situation. I had to take IV by sitting on the chair near the washroom. In canada 2 beds are available per 1000 population as per statistics. Doctors are also not that competent. There is too much difference of opinion between doctors on the same issue. I can understand the situation of Manpreet as well, as my husband also used to wait outside in cold for 6 to 7 hours. Pls take care of yourself as much as possible so that you don't have to face the same emergency room again. Get well soon.
Didi apki situation sun ke feel hua India is far best then Canada atleast Promt dekhtey to hai Ab muje canada aane ka bilkul man nahi h Stay healthy di
I pray the almighty for speedy recovery.Don't worry Manpreet is a sensible & responsible lady. Ur lucky to have her as ur wife. Stay blessed both of you.
Sorry you guys had to experience this way. I’d prefer less tax with no waiting in emerg just because it’s free doesn’t mean we have to suffer waiting there.
I working as a security guard on a construction site and i was very badly injured on my head it was bleeding very badly or in that case as well my waiting was 4 hours Brampton has worst medical facilities they even did not provide me cotton to put it on my head to stop the bleeding.
What the heck man... I guess most people want to move from india is because of health care system in Canada it seems even worse. I was in japan there system is extremely well. I had two incident once my wisdom teeth extrusion was required because of pain and one time i broken my finger while playing with other mates both time they have given good care...
Suni sunai baataon me sab achcha lagta hai... atleast in India you can pay and get medical care.. In Canada it's not that way... long waits. Get well soon!
I have been several times to the ER for myself as well as my kids. Yes, it takes long, sometimes 2 to 10 hours depending on staff, how many patients or how busy, and your level of emergency. It also depends on how many patients came through ambulatory care. We do pay for health care through our taxes, but it is definitely not the same as private health care. Yes, pre-covid you could wait with the patient. It is normal to be asked the questions 3 times since first is registration, then nurse and last doctor. The health care in Canada is good in my mind as even people who are poor can get the health care they need. If you call 911 and get the ambulance or paramedics, there is a cost. I have had experience for my daughter. It is the best service. The police come too, so don't get scared when about 4 police cars show up, it can be intimidating and everyone asks the same questions. The paramedics were amazing, made my daughter feel comfortable. Get well soon and take care.
There is a walk in clinic with has all the specialist and you can go book an appointment, the clinic is on Queensway W & Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON…you will get all the specialists there and you don’t have to wait 3 months…take care guys
This video is an eye opener. Thanks a lot for sharing the ground reality. Me and my wife started our Canadian dream and getting information since the past 2 years and were about to start the PR application process soon. But this reality has really prompted us to rethink about our plans. Too much struggle and hardships to get PR and in the end you have to love a risky life. Is it worth it ?
CANADA IS RATED TOP-10 COUNTRY AROUND THE WORLD TO LIVE. BUT THIS EXPERIENCE IN SUCH A DEVELOPED COUNTRY RAISE A BIG QUESTION ON FACILITY BY GOVERNMENT.
This is not the desirable experience of course, but they made the mistake of not calling 911 or not telling a nurse that they need urgent care. If you do not tell the nurses that you are having severe pain, it will take a long time to get checked up. It is based on pain priority and you 100% need to notify doctors about how bad the pain is.
@@explorewithme8701 Unless there is a life-threatening condition you cannot skip the line... That's why every emergency has triage... Also 911 would have determined it as a non-life threating condition and left them in emergency section...
@@curiousp9700 had experience before in triage, and you gotta tell them the situation is bad. it only takes a matter of minutes then to get the doctors on your case

In Kitchener waterloo it is difficult to even get a family doctor. My husband has to suffer for 2 hours in kidney pain but they did not attended him. I have seen people saying bad about india healthcare but i am sure they have not experienced canada’s. Now my husband has continuous itching in his throat and he got appointment in july. Till july he has to adjust with that. No wonder people run to india and usa for treatment.
How about private practice/hospitals? Is that available or not ? Usually I also face appointment delays like this in the gulf but for really urgent matters I visit private.
Same here. In Kitchener Waterloo one walk in clinic Doctor gave medicine to my husband that has extreme side effects as per another doctor. My husband had shoulder muscle pull and he got appointment for MRI after 3 months. And after 3 months he is fine and no need of MRI now.
My father is a govt employee in himachal He had kidney failure ... he had kidney transplant in chandigarh it took 9 lakh rupees ... govt refunded us 7 lakh rupees ... media create bad image about india ... another person from our area had transplant in pgi in 3 lakhs ... but it take 4 months ... doctor is always abilable for us can call any time
@@bf263 apart from items not covered by public health care, there is essentially no private system in canada. I keep praying that my husband never get that kidney stone pain again. It was a torture 😒
Welcome to Canada. This vlog should be an eye opener for those getting crazy to immigrate to Canada. Healthcare is not free in Canada. We pay for it through taxes. Also availability is extremely poor. Getting access to first doctor is a challenge. Forget about getting a second opinion. And even though doctors might be good, treatment certainly gets affected due to too much stress on the system.
If they feel that healthcare is not up the mark and india is better, and if they think healthcare system as priority in humans lifestyle, then they should immediately leave that country and come back to India.
Actually, it is all three. Laid back attitude from healthcare providers, detail oriented and too much stress on the system. Too much stress gets caused because some people unnecessarily add to the queue as health care is free. But the biggest problem is not allowing foreign trained doctors to practice. Canadian medical fraternity wants to maintain a monopoly on residency seats. Along with that, Canada having a socialist mindset, for majority population, free health care assurance is quite important. Therefore no Government takes the risk of introducing private health care which again comes with its own set of problems as in India.
better have private healthcare if u want everything with in seconds . still canada medical system is wayyy better than india . its simple theory if its life threating then u will get proper treatment straight away . its we indian are like pampered thodi se jada pain and want instant treatment and call it as emergency lol .
@@Ghumtaram healthcare is one issue. Healthcare in India is instantly available but you would be lucky if you get honest providers. Healthcare in Canada is honest because it is all state sponsored. However, sometimes instant availability of Healthcare becomes important and again, it depends on a person's situation. Other than poor health care, Canada is certainly a far better country to live in compared to India. If nothing else, one can enjoy clean air and water. Besides, other than such emergencies, people usually do not fall sick in Canada because it is a hyperclean country.
Thanks for the video, genuinely rethinking our move to Canada... I got kidney stones twice in last 2 years and are one point it was so bad cause the stone was stuck in my urethra... I'm genuinely rethinking my decision now

Canada has to improve it's Medical facilities. At least emergency should be treated like emergency. 6 hours to diagnose and treat in emergency is not expected. Take care bhai.
I had the same problem after working out, doctor asked to get MRI done and gave me some pain meds but nothing worked so I put some water in a big bowl and put it in the freezer when the ice was formed I took the whole thing out(don't break the ice into small pieces because you'll need a big piece of ice for your entire leg) and wrapped it in a cotton cloth and started massaging in the downward direction from thigh to ankle 2-3 times a day when you feel your leg is getting numb then start walking for atleast 10 mins repeat this every 5-6 hours, you'll start feeling better in 2-3 days without any pain meds. I hope you get well some
I have had a very nice experience in emergency at Sir Ganga Ram in Delhi....So basically here at emergency I have had to wait for around 10-12 hours....here hospitals are like or even worse than govt hospitals back home🤦😔😔😔
Hope you feel better Bhaiya ! Canada main free healthcare hai but free jaise hi service hai.. In 2019 I too had kidney stone problem I had to wait 4-5 hours in waiting.. and they are heartless they just don’t care.. simple blood test k liye they made me wait 3-4 hours. So healthcare is not good specially emergency department. Please Take care and rest well.
I got lucky, in my case I got treated for my foot injury very quickly and my doctor was awesome and supported me through all the process since I was very new to Canada. Everybody’s experience is different.
Please take care and i would like to suggest you to have bottle gourd juice daily ..it helps reducing clotting in blood..it is a very good natural blood thinner and helps in unclogging blocked arteries. You can google it and start taking, would really help you.

I returned to India for good after being in Canada for 5+ years. I have never been to the ER but have faced issues with the medical system , incurred loss as well and one reason to be back home is this. I can't sacrifice my life for the poor medical treatment.
Same here in UK.. First of all it's not free at all.. We are paying here for each year medical insurance charge plus yearly tax.. Here also if you go to emergency minimum waiting is 4 hrs but average they will take 2.5 to 3 hrs to take first step and in the mean time 4-5 nurses will come and will ask you the same question again n again.. Also they will try their level best to convince you that u r all right.. And still if you need specialist then it will take 3 months minimum to get an appointment... Yes U R absolutely correct they feel emergency only when U R dying.. Matlab usme bhi u need to prove U R dying.. 😂😂.. Last time when we went to India we bought one private insurance bcoz incase that kind of emergency happen then we do have an option.. Get well soon bro..
Overall NHS ta keymon, sob somai ki wait korte hoi and btw in which city you live? Kono emergency hole atleast UK to India will cost wayless in comparison to from Canada to India
@@RishabhMazumdar yes the scenario which I wrote is a general practice here.. Yes ticket cost is less than Canada but with so many involvements like daughter's school and office it is not always manageable.. If she doesn't go to school continuous three weeks then they will not count her as a student and will call the other child if there is any waiting list whatever reason it is.
@@RishabhMazumdar yes that is the case.. When she will come back from India she needs to apply again for a school and if the same school has already filled up that position with another child then she will go to a new school, new uniform needs to buy, lots of adjustment again..

Hi, I m Vinod and living in Toronto. I also had a same problem when I came to Canada in 2017 due to sat a long time during my India to Canada travel. Emergency doctors gave me blood theaner and asked to take it until clots are desolved by themselves. I took blood theaner for almost 2 years until desolved. They said do exercise, walk and take blood theaner. That's it. No other treatment on this other than takeing blood theaner. Just want to shareing my experience with u so.. TC
This is so unfortunate to see your situation and to hear this experience. I pray for your speedy recovery. And I will definitely keep in mind the free health care in Canada.
I feel that,You both are transparent & sticking to the facts. It is very important for the people who trust you. please keep this trust alive. How is your health now ? Hope you are fine now. God bless you both
If you get unbearable pain, please call 911 instead of figuring out how to get to the hospital yourself. The paramedics are trained to analyze your situation and triage it in a knowledgeable way. They will make sure you are looked after ASAP at the hospital. I once fainted on the public transit from Brampton to Mississauga and I was fine after 5 mins but they had already called 911 and I was at the hospital in 10 mins and saw the doctor within 20 mins of the incident. It was so fast and efficient. If you ever had kidney stone pain, PLEASE call 911.
We in majority in New Brunswick are without family doctors.Even due to covid some walk in clinics are closed,so in nutshell currently there is only one walk-in clinic in our city... But overall medics in Canada is pathetic. Wishing u a speedy recovery.
Thanks Madam Das for exposing the Truth. I honestly feel that a Hype is generated about Canada. But it's not so. It's not that Life is a Bed of Roses. Hope you are a Bengali. I too Reporting from Kolkata
Sorry to hear that. In USA, there's 6-7 hrs wait in ER plus nothing is free. However, the wait time to see specialists is 1-2 months. Anyone can call 911, even for a moderate injury. They will be charged for the ambulance anyway.
I have been in Canada for 32 years helath was good in those days but now it is the worse.Emeregency you can for 12hrs they dont care short of doctors and staff.
Get well soon... Well during these times its hard to find a family doctor. Some people even last 10 years do not have any family doctor and now no one accepts new patients. It's really frustrating...
My brother was about to get his health-card in a week. We lived 10 min away from a hospital but we both were very new to Canada and also alone at home, didn’t know we could call an Uber and take him to the the ER. He had a sudden excruciating pain in his stomach at midnight. Called 911 3-4 times and they didn’t dispatch an ambulance for one hour or so. Finally after calling several times they arrived. While my brother was in pain and vomiting blood, the hospital staff didn’t care about the patient, only cared about the health card. I begged them to treat him first and we will pay for it later. The entire night they kept him and after 4 hours the doctor came and ordered some tests. The nurses and the doctor treated him as if he is lying. In fact, one of the nurses came and told my brother who was on bed without any pain medication that he “wasted tax payers money by calling an ambulance,” which in fact we paid for the next day, and paid the hospital bill too which was over $1000 for a night with no diagnosis. The nurses kept coming, laughing at my brother who was in excruciating pain. Hard to believe, I know, but it was shocking for me at that time. The tests were “clear”, and they said pain was in his head. Turns out the doctor in the ER read the results wrong and it was a matter of extreme kidney stones. This was in Oakville in 2017. The staff was extremely racist towards us. Just assumed we were brown and wouldn’t pay.
i agree with u. one of my cousin died due to their neglegence they do not treat the pateint as in india on priority, thats why we moved back. after this incidence i am scared of healthcare in canada. rest is all fine and amzing in canada. but health care is not.

I pray to God that you recover from this injury very soon, I had the same experience when I used to live in Ontario. But its different here in Alberta. Health services are much better here in Alberta.
Here in Australia we have both public and private healthcare. Best of both worlds. I have high cholesterol. My GP refered to cardiologist. Within a week I saw cardiologist. He refered for heart scan as precaution to check. Within 3 weeks appointment for heart scan. All this covered free under public health care. If someone wants even quicker than pay small premium and get private healthcare. This premium is tax deductible.

Reality of Canada - Very bad weather - freezing with gusty winds with snow or ice ,get ready to shovel a lot of snow in winter, winter type weather is for 8 months, very high price of house plus other high expenses which are unaffordable like on an average house price is million dollars plus other expenses makes you 12,000$ per month which you will not get easily as salary, high rents also almost 1700$ for one bhk ,whereas on an average you can make 2000 $ /month ,but taxes are high even in low wages ,in high wages more high taxes , high car insurance plus high phone plus interntet plus grocery , no taste of indian vegetable & indian food ,its a big problem if you are a vegetarian, no specific job industry & 97% warehouse jobs which pay little also 99% sardars drive truck but truck is a very hard job esp in winter ,very hard to get good paying jobs & even if you get after marathon trials there is no guarantee of retaining it you can be fired next month , & other jobs won't pay that much only illiterate people can do , no social life ,even no personal life as women become very weird after coming to canada & lots of divorces happens in indian people after coming to canada due to job issue ,money issue , house work issue, sponsoring parents issue, ego issue ,character issue , also boys coming here can't marry canadian girls as they are worst than virus & when then they have to go to india to marry as they have no other option left there the girl touches boys feet even to come to canada & then when the girl comes here in canada then immediately dumps the boy & brings her own parents & lives there after happily as some indian girls(not all) nowadays just wants to come to canada anyhow by hook or by crook & makes such kind of helpless boys as their soft targets & the poor boys here becomes their easy victims as women right & women favoring laws are very strong in canada & are very partial to men here in canada ,you will hear divorces very common in canada as drinking coffee ,people of canada are very dead & shows no emotions like indians are & when asked replies very deadly - "not too bad" . also when kids grow up they have no feelings or any kind of emotions for their indian parents in canada as they don't know what is indian culture as indian culture means respect love & care for parents but they don't what is this? they think this is bull shit , also super worst medical system with 20 hours waiting in emergency plus doctors will never give you any medicine due to legal fear also you will never get timely treatment or even a medicine like india, also specialist doctor appointments will take 6 months in canada while you can see specialist doctor daily if you want in india , dental & eye is private but very costly only if you have work insurance, no servants or maids like india so you have to do all jobs like cleaning house, cooking, laundry ,dishwashing by yourself even if you are coming from 8 hour job which is very tiring , canada is only heaven for punjabis as punjabis can do dark black labour very easily due to their very super strong body & are most of them are hardly 8th class pass, so they feel very proud even in doing black labour jobs ,& now canada is just unofficially punjab ,you will see everywhere punjabi speaking ,punjabis hanging around like village of punjab, its better to take a train ticket of 500 rs to go to punjab in india then to spend 1 lakh rupees in flight & go to punjab or canada (canada's real unofficial name is punjab ) & just lifting big boxes like big stones & hearing chak de fatte from punjabis anywhere you go in canada, punjabis are very very nice & very very helpful & are like perfect as god but this is not the subject here , for indians coming to canada from other states of india except punjab they have to be very very careful while coming to canada .
Have had a similar experience. I dislocated my shoulder and had to call 911. They took me to the nearest hospital in Mississauga but I also had to wait for 4 hours before the doctors saw me and started treatment, all of this with my shoulder still dislocated.
Hi Bro.. I am shocked to know about the situation of HealthCare in Canada.. My brother in law had suffered same problem 2yrs back.. and this problem needs an emergency surgery.. you must consult doctors in India and don't delay this problem.. Dr Bedi in Delhi is best for this problem he is vascular surgeon. Take care and stay safe 🙏
@V Joshep Many a times Georgetown hospital makes you wait and then asks you to visit Brampton or trillium health & what Arjundeep mentions is true Healthcare in Canada is single payer system, where it's free, but resources are limited. One way to control the cost is to complicate and control the licenses for RNs and Physicians, so that we can cut cost. Canada population grow huge in last 5 years (especially in GTA/GVA), but the hospital capacity haven't increased. However, same does not apply to Dentist/pharmacist/Physiotherapist as they are out of pocket expenses
India has both private and govt hospital .Those who get free medical care from govt ,go to govt hospital only .wheather in India or Canada , it is same situation but only difference is Canada runs on protocol based .Ground staff assess the pain score and GCS score and plans the basic care .In India too , an em doctor is there who attends the cases coming to em and decides furthur plan . Back home when you r in India ,you are financially sound and usually go to private set up, pay good and things look ok .
In India Private Hospitals instant fast and Costly treatments.... Some of private hospitals are not that much expensive..... Government Hospitals are free but you to wait but not 2-3 months... Maybe 5-10days for test and other stuffs
I stay in Bombay and there are like 100 hospitals and many doctors in this city. Anywhere you can get immediate attention. This health appointment system is a serious drawback of Canada.
In Belgium we have to wait probably 10 minutes in emergency, and all the serious tests like CT scans etc are done mostly right away otherwise in a day or two. no health card needed, my Id card is my health card. best wishes
I’ve been to the hospital several times in Canada as a student and got misdiagnosed 4-5 times, at the end I had to come to India and get a surgery to fix my problem, here my suggestion would be you should come to India and show some specialist here asap
Same situation here, was misdiagnosed consulted doctor back in India virtually and he advised to come back. Came back and was told I need surgery now preparing to undergo that. So much for being a developed country.

Thank you so much for making this video! "Free" healthcare is well advertised but one should be aware of the realities of it. I was really surprised hearing how long it actually takes. It is nice to know that healthcare is taken care of in Canada, but it should not be one's sole reason to go to Canada and the reality is very different. You really have it better in a private hospital/clinic in India. Please take care. We love your as viewers prayers for your well being and speedy recovery🙏🏼
What did you understand and what did you interpret? It remains the best Healthcare system, he went to ERoom, had he gone to urgent care it would.habe been much faster.
Good video !!! I agree with you on the wait times in public health care in Canada. However, like you said emergency prioritize and triage based on the need. I have been to emergency and they were able to care appropriately. I feel since it’s a equitable system I would prefer this over a system riddled by insurance and bureaucratic red tape. I drive a into a hospital in smaller towns to cut the wait.

So, always call 911 if you suffer from kidney stone pain. 👍🏻
My husband had to undergo a major surgery almost a month ago,so we also have the first hand experience of the medical system here. Its so long that u can go to India, get ur surgery done, recover, come back, quarantine and then still hve a few weeks left for ur appointment. This one reason is what makes him that its better to be India in such situations. The specialists just focus on the main issue and pay no heed to stress, anxiety related to the issues. For any other information, please contact ur family doctor,is what they say. Get well soon sir.

Hi yes I agree with you I also have experience the medical system of canada is not so good few weeks back I was booked for c section but I was on my 39th week still hospital did not gave me date I keep going there to hospital they keep saying we will cl you but they did not finally they called me for csection but still for two days I keep waiting on waiting room since morning to evening without drinking water and both day they send me back by saying there are lots of emergency so come next day finally I was operated on 3rd day it was really frustrating. Canadian Healthcare is a piece of crap if compared to the healthcare in the US. Our employer / individual pays for the insurance but in an emergency situation a patient does not have to wait. Doctors take excellent care of the patient.

My dad is a doctor back home in India. Whenever he comes to Canada he does not like the medical system here. He says that in India the medical system is so good u pay for it & get the treatment as soon as possible.😊👍
@@soni-soni Those who cannot pay mostly go to government hospitals as they're almost free.
In India the people who cannot pay go to Government hospitals & the treatment is good there & also free for them.😀👌
In India the Hospitals have started becoming greedy and have become a Money sucking machine. Now a days they want to perform too many unwanted blood tests to build up the bill using scare tactics and unless u pay the Demand draft / cash they dont see you. India health care is only good if you have ready cash to hand out.
It's a fact
Thus is really frustrating

Why would you go to Emergency with just a flu?
Why did you go to emergency for a flu?
Canada Healthcare is advanced but not made to handle a large population. India is way better than any other country as far as healthcare is concerned. There are some issues like unorganized things but Covid has shown the reality to all the developed countries who advertised their so-called "Best in Class" healthcare system.
True. Canada has one of the worst system as per management is concerned. I have heard like so many similar example as this channel.
Yep. Just visit AIIMS or JIMPER, you'd be amazed at their how efficiently they get stuff done for affordable costs

I think you should experience on your own , rather than listening to it,
I’ve been to the ER about thrice here in Toronto, each time I’ve been alone they never let anyone inside and it’s very normal to wait about 6-7 hours before a doctor comes to see you.
Treatment started immediately in the hospital and I was released in 3 hours time with medication.
is this general to the whole of Germany or specific to big cities only?
The time waiting and caring are two different things. Healthcare remains the best, wait you must. Same with us in US, unless it is not a heart related or a wound or serious injury, the emergency room will make you wait. However, we have urgent care that is 5 to 10 minutes wait only removes the burden of the emergency room visit.
Everything is covered in germany from hospitalisation to medications. Australia and Canada the medical system is highly disappointing. After living there. Germany is good in terms of healthcare

Sir, can you still say the average charges as we are planning for PR in canada and I wanna know the exact scenario
Now that I've seen this video. I've decided to not to move to Canada. It can be really serious if you have your parents their.

Better than india
Yes wait time sucks in Healthcare in Canada. Hope no one goes through it .

Yes cranberry juice helps from healthy planet with NO sugar. Or you can try Sobeys.
Is this a stress on system or too much detail oriented + laid back attitude from healthcare providers

I was pointed out an observation that you may have observed too that "many doctors, engineers, lawyers, accountants doing other jobs as their qualification which got them a PR is not recognized here and they don't have Canadian experience".
The sad truth about this observation that was pointed out to me is that their qualification is not recognized until a crisis like COVID-19 comes up, and then it is temporarily recognized, based on the need, and on need basis, they say: "The Ontario government is calling for “all hands on deck” and is asking anyone with a medical background to step forward in an effort to fight the COVID-19 pandemic."
“Today we are calling on reinforcements,” Ford said. “If you are listening, if you have medical training, if you want to save lives, we need you. Join the fight today because we need every person in this fight.”

Why you don't complain against them! You should
@@aamedolic brother they replied everyone other in que brought up here is also their priority. u have to wait.
also, getting the deceased body even after death was so rudicuols u cant even imagine.
only thing canada need to improve is health care. rest all are excellent no cons.
@@aamedolic it’s been years now. I wish I could complain back then. We were like 3 months old here in Canada and didn’t have it in us to complain back then
@@DheerajKumar-wj1hz so oakville is a dead town after 6. The ER was literally empty when we got there. The hospital was also very new and was not short staffed at all. 911 couldn’t understand how serious the situation was at that time. We lived literally 10 min drive away from the hospital
I pray to God that you recover from this injury very soon, I had the same experience when I used to live in Ontario.
But its different here in Alberta. Health services are much better here in Alberta.
In life nothing is free accept 😨Pain and Problems 🙁 self experience 👍
Here in Australia we have both public and private healthcare. Best of both worlds. I have high cholesterol. My GP refered to cardiologist. Within a week I saw cardiologist. He refered for heart scan as precaution to check. Within 3 weeks appointment for heart scan. All this covered free under public health care. If someone wants even quicker than pay small premium and get private healthcare. This premium is tax deductible.
You're right sir. We live in alberta and i had to wait for a year for an ENT specialist. I can't go to India due to covid restrictions. I've got my PR but i've decided to go back to India next year permanently. Mera bharat mahan.
Absolutely right
Reality of Canada - Very bad weather - freezing with gusty winds with
snow or ice ,get ready to shovel a lot of snow in winter, winter type
weather is for 8 months, very high price of house plus other high
expenses which are unaffordable like on an average house price is
million dollars plus other expenses makes you 12,000$ per month which
you will not get easily as salary, high rents also almost 1700$ for one
bhk ,whereas on an average you can make 2000 $ /month ,but taxes are high even in low wages ,in high wages more high taxes , high car
insurance plus high phone plus interntet plus grocery , no taste of
indian vegetable & indian food ,its a big problem if you are a
vegetarian, no specific job industry & 97% warehouse jobs which pay
little also 99% sardars drive truck but truck is a very hard job esp in
winter ,very hard to get good paying jobs & even if you get after marathon trials there is no guarantee of retaining it you can be fired next month , & other jobs won't pay
that much only illiterate people can do , no social life ,even no
personal life as women become very weird after coming to canada &
lots of divorces happens in indian people after coming to canada due to job issue ,money issue , house work issue, sponsoring parents issue, ego issue ,character issue , also boys coming here can't marry canadian girls as they are worst than virus & when then they have to go to india to marry as they have no other option left there the girl touches boys feet even to come to canada & then when the girl comes here in canada then immediately dumps the boy & brings her own parents & lives there after happily as some indian girls(not all) nowadays just wants to come to canada anyhow by hook or by crook & makes such kind of helpless boys as their soft targets & the poor boys here becomes their easy victims as women right & women favoring laws are very strong in canada & are very partial to men here in canada ,you will hear divorces very common in canada as drinking coffee ,people
of canada are very dead & shows no emotions like indians are & when asked replies very deadly - "not too bad" . also when
kids grow up they have no feelings or any kind of emotions for their indian parents in canada as they
don't know what is indian culture as indian culture means respect love & care for parents but they don't what is this? they think this is bull shit , also super worst medical system with 20
hours waiting in emergency plus doctors will never give you any medicine
due to legal fear also you will never get timely treatment or even a
medicine like india, also specialist doctor appointments will take 6
months in canada while you can see specialist doctor daily if you want
in india , dental & eye is private but very costly only if you have
work insurance, no servants or maids like india so you have to do all jobs
like cleaning house, cooking, laundry ,dishwashing by yourself even if
you are coming from 8 hour job which is very tiring , canada is only
heaven for punjabis as punjabis can do dark black labour very easily due to their very super strong body & are most of them are hardly 8th class pass, so they feel very proud even in doing black labour jobs ,& now canada is just unofficially punjab ,you will see everywhere punjabi speaking ,punjabis hanging around like village of punjab, its better to take a train ticket of 500 rs to go to punjab in india then to spend 1 lakh rupees in flight & go to punjab or canada (canada's real unofficial name is punjab ) & just lifting big boxes like big stones & hearing chak de fatte from punjabis anywhere you go in canada, punjabis are very very nice & very very helpful & are like perfect as god but this is not the subject here , for indians coming to canada from other states of india except punjab they have to be very very careful while coming to canada .
Have had a similar experience. I dislocated my shoulder and had to call 911. They took me to the nearest hospital in Mississauga but I also had to wait for 4 hours before the doctors saw me and started treatment, all of this with my shoulder still dislocated.
That’s really painful 😣
May Allah give you healthy wealthy long life ameen sumameen 🥰
Waheguru waheguru ji meaher karo please you are yery strong couple I pray to god you soon be ok god well give you long life
Canada does not have sufficient doctors . So this is way they make u wait so much time .
@V Joshep Many a times Georgetown hospital makes you wait and then asks you to visit Brampton or trillium health & what Arjundeep mentions is true
Healthcare in Canada is single payer system, where it's free, but resources are limited.
True bro
In Belgium we have to wait probably 10 minutes in emergency, and all the serious tests like CT scans etc are done mostly right away otherwise in a day or two. no health card needed, my Id card is my health card. best wishes
What do you do in Belgium?
I’ve been to the hospital several times in Canada as a student and got misdiagnosed 4-5 times, at the end I had to come to India and get a surgery to fix my problem, here my suggestion would be you should come to India and show some specialist here asap
Same situation here, was misdiagnosed consulted doctor back in India virtually and he advised to come back. Came back and was told I need surgery now preparing to undergo that. So much for being a developed country.
Canada jaa kar bhi healthcare services ke liye india waapis aana pada 😕😕 that's so paradoxical
@@user-ff5jd7uj9h bhai india to hai hee best no doubt. Doosre desh jaa kar dollar mai kamaoge to kharcha bhi dollar mai hoga. Aur itti sardi mai kya jeena jab bhagwan ne india mai charo tarah ke mausam ke maje diye hai

Similar experience with me ..I was international student, had pain in hand too much ...waited 3 hours to just see doctor . Moreover , asking 800 dollars just for appointment or something like that as an initial payment ... worst experience.
Sorry for your condition and may you recover soon. I have lived in Norway for 5 years, it’s the same situation over there as well.
Speaking from experience if you are going to emergency in Norway, Sweden, Denmark or Finland, you will have to wait 5-6 hours there as well unless you are dying.
I always go to Urgent Care, much faster and quicker turnaround time than ERoom visit. Hope you recover soon.
OMG what have you done to your leg man! Never ever seen something like this before -Incredible!
Prayers being sent across for speedy recovery - Fikar not 👍🏾
👍🏻
Harmeet my husband is also having kidney stone and he is taking Himalaya cystone it's really good and it really works and also prayers r always with u and your wife 🙏 just take care we all love u guys
Hello, FYI; once my brother got kidney stone pain early in the morning, so his friends called 911 and they arrived within minutes and gave him pain killer injection and took him to emergency for further tests, though he also waited there for few hours for his test results. So, always call 911 if you suffer from kidney stone pain. 👍🏻
Thnxbro mere bhi stone hai dar lgra tha ki vhn injection de bhi dete hai
My husband had to undergo a major surgery almost a month ago,so we also have the first hand experience of the medical system here. Its so long that u can go to India, get ur surgery done, recover, come back, quarantine and then still hve a few weeks left for ur appointment.
This one reason is what makes him that its better to be India in such situations.
The specialists just focus on the main issue and pay no heed to stress, anxiety related to the issues. For any other information, please contact ur family doctor,is what they say.
Get well soon sir.
I believe everyone has experienced the same in other provinces as well 🥺
This is sad if someone needs medical attention, first aid, and no one is there to help
This sucks! Apna to Canadian PR leny ka plan cancel ho raha ye sab daikh kr 😞
May you get well soon.. me and my wife had our fare share of emergencies trips in past year..it all depends on the severity... if they consider the issue life threatening then immediately they will cater for you..on the other hand if they think that you can get by then i have waited upto 12 hours in calgary emergency but my wife got treated immediately in her case and we both called 911..May Allah keep you and everyone healthy and away from hospitals
Get well soon ❤
Hi yes I agree with you I also have experience the medical system of canada is not so good few weeks back I was booked for c section but I was on my 39th week still hospital did not gave me date I keep going there to hospital they keep saying we will cl you but they did not finally they called me for csection but still for two days I keep waiting on waiting room since morning to evening without drinking water and both day they send me back by saying there are lots of emergency so come next day finally I was operated on 3rd day it was really frustrating. This medical system every where same I think in canada I live in surrey bc. Hope you get well soon
Canadian Healthcare is a piece of crap if compared to the healthcare in the US. Our employer / individual pays for the insurance but in an emergency situation a patient does not have to wait. Doctors take excellent care of the patient.
