there are a few factors for the bass, most likely the step-up-transformer is not the correct ratio. I may record another one with a different s-u-t. thanks for your comment
a little reverb was added but I think the problem is the Original 1940's rubber damping inside the pickup, although still pliable probably would benefit from being replaced. This, from the look of it will mean killing the coil & rewinding so a little more complicated than most of these.

Very nice sound and a good tune. A bit weak in the bass, but I'm sure that's due to the way the video was recorded.

Might be more convincing if you weren't miking the speakers.
Was this played with any correction at al ? It sounds fine but a bit thin on the bass.
