No team with over 50 percent of their cap space into 4 guys will win in this league . This core four didn't work. Period. Trade Marner, get rid of Reilly. Let Tavares walk next year.

You guys are doing a great show. Goalies are weird creatures, I being one of them knows that nobody dreams about being the backup. He was playing behind possibly the best goalie in the league on a great team, that's pressure because you have no excuse for losing your job. He's still relatively young. The amount of games he's played so far is irrelevant, everyone thinks they can play more...it's a good pickup, now, let's hope Woll is the starter we want him to be with a guy pushing him. Lol.

I'm still disappointed we didn't get Zadorov. I'd package Robertson and Liligren for something.

Hakanpaa is better then zadorov you will see he will be a fan favorite dependable a#1penalty killer and fights hits every defensively smart better then any defenseman at defence then the leafs had last year

OEL and Tanev aren't over the hill by any means, they still can perform and contribute positively, but the Leafs are getting older and slower. Liljegren has to step up and play an impactful role next season.

Stolares didnt have a good team in front of him in Anaheim and he still put up better numbers than any Leaf goalie in the past decade! ...Drops Mike ( the device not Auggy... love him)
What I like about him is he isn't a number 1 want to be. He is a great supportive teammate. When Woll gets injured this year, he doesn't have to rush back because someone is trying to steal his job. I think Murray and Young Nick will have good years and get moved for a couple veteran playoff players at the trade deadline. We can get out of the second round this year.....
Mitch will put up Career numbers!!!

If they trade Mitch and get a big young talented defenseman and a draft pick we'll be close to a Stanley Cup

Robertson scored 14 goals in 56 games, that's a 25 goal pace. your comment is ridiculous. he wants to go somewhere else so he can have a shot at playing 82 games.

  • @armandolarade7861

He did a great job. Marner doesn't deserve 12 million, there's way better players who actually won stanley cups who got less so, why this guy who's best season is 90 points or something and who's done basically nothing in the playoffs should get superstar money boggles my mind...no matter how it ends, get whatever maximum you can get for him and break up this core 4 that has nothing to show for.

🎉🎉🎉🎉 welcome back boys!!! Happy to see the NHL supporting perverts in high positions with the predictable reinstatement of Bowman and Quenneville. It will help grow the game in the US for sure. So on brand!

i have questions who was signing domi other than toronto? he has been on 10 teams already so i have a very hard time getting begind that signing , tanev brings nothing but a losing culture just like treliving does , oel he played ok in florida and was considered a bust , who pays a 35 yr old 4.5 million that brings nothing , holl blocks shots for less than 4.5m , this isnt a top 10 defence , the leafs got older and slower, crazy how toronto keeps bringing old washed up calgary flames , havent you all learned from gio and brodie

Hakanpaa is better at defense then zadorov and was Dallas second unit and #1 penalty killer before he got hurt he is the best steal of free agency

He was their 3rd pairing guy, and his corsi was among the lowest of the regulars on the team. It's strange how a player's role changes based on perspective after he's acquired.

To @Marixa1979’s claim on Hakanpaa and @jesseburke1990’s on Zadorov, I would like to believe the 1st d-man is upgrade on the latter for the Leafs but only time will tell if that is indeed the case.

I don't want Marner traded. How do you replace a great penalty killer yet alone a 100 point guy. Not to mention the 30-40 assists he gets with Matthews.

    • @maciekgutkowski8075
      @maciekgutkowski8075 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

So you keep the snowflake and let him disappear year after year after year in the playoffs ... that's the definition of stupidity and insanity. As for the 100 points; you don't replace most of them ... you become a more defensive lower scoring team, doing that will make the Leafs a real Contender.

For 12+ million you can sign two 50 point forwards and a good defenseman. Guys who might be interested in winning in the playoffs , not at the negotiating table
