Oh yes, I loved mine when I was a kid, but I had to play with it mainly in the garden, because I liked to have the volume loud. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
@@midastouchtoys I had the playset with the transporter pad that could "beam" Spock or Kirk (only one at a time, mind you!) away. I thought it was the neatest thing ever. It would probably be worth a pretty penny by now, but kids generally don't take good care of their toys. :(
thats very nice.....great condition...i was collecting these mego trek stuff back in 1987 i had the star trek star wars collecters guide .pictures o f all the mego stuff...great times
that prism cover over the lights was an extremely popular effect in the 70s ..most often used for parties there were kits for DIY..take a 3 foot tall home speaker ..take all the guts out..put a couple of strings of christmas bulbs inside ..purchase or build yourself a light controller PCB (Radio Shack) that would control the lights depending on the music being played in the room..buy a piece of prism plastic at any hobby or DIY store..power adapter from Radio Shack .... put it all together ..add a disco ball and you are ready for 70s Rock n Roll or Disco party... if i remember correctly if you did it all yourself and you had an old speaker box and left over xmas lights your cost would be less than $5
Yes, it’s all down to copyright, we can show the video but without sound, otherwise subject to copyright restrictions, this is why it’s kept to under 1 minute. 😀
I had this toy. I loved the blinking lights. This was the base walkie talkie for when we played walkie talkie.
Oh yes absolutely right. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
I remember having a junk one that i think i got from a yard sale. I remember the console and the morse code key.
Fantastic, thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
With those noises, I'll bet kids LOVED this (but parents HATED it!)

Yes those was the days. They just don’t make things like this anymore. The kids these days don’t know what they are missing. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
@midastouchtoys your welcome!
Fun Fact : Most Walkie Talkies transmit on CB Channel 14.
Interesting, I never knew that. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀

Wow, great bit of knowledge. I would never have thought of doing that. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
Thanks for this. I remember wanting one as a kid, but it probably not have held my interest long. It does look cool, though.
You will be surprised, we played with our for hours on end, especially with the communicators. 😀😀😀
I had the phasers and communicators but the next day, I found my phasors smashed to pieces. My dad hated toy guns.
Oh no, so sad. Great toys with great memories though. Thanks for sharing. 😀😀😀
Kinda confusing that the first 47 seconds are completely silent.
But then 47 is kinda "Star Treks 42, accounted for inflation".
I thought something was wrong with my computer!
