- Turkey’s top UAV companies have one goal, to become a global leader in unmanned aerial assaults. And their latest piece of hardware, the Bayraktar Akinci could mark a big step. It’s one of Turkey’s most advanced and sophisticated unmanned combat aerial vehicles or UCAVs.
And according to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, this new leap in drone technology has taken the country’s defence industry into the big leagues.

In Turkey, life has become more expensive for the third month in a row. The inflation rate is thus approaching the 20 percent mark more and more. Bad news for the people in Turkey: For the third month in a row, inflation has accelerated. In August consumer prices climbed 19.25 percent year-on-year, as the Turkish statistical office announced today. Annual inflation thus increased even more than in the previous months. In July the increase was 18.95 percent and a month earlier 17.53 percent. Most recently, the inflation rate exceeded the 20 percent mark in early 2019. The driving force was higher food prices. These increased in price by an average of 29 percent. In July the increase was only 25 percent and in June 20 percent. The rise in food prices has increased noticeably since June, after the rate of increase had been stable in the previous months. Company producer prices even rose by 45.5 percent in August. These are not good omen for the further price development.

SubhanAllah Turkey’s new combat drones are superior to the ones they used against Assad
Regime in Syria and Azerbaijan Airforce used in Qarabkh conflict in 2020. The Akinci has much larger payload and can fly higher and for extended periods of time.
Bayraktar are now one of the most important companies in the Drone making industry worldwide and with more investment and Research/Development the future looks very bright for Turkish Drone Industry/Defence industry as a whole.
They can adopt their rnd on drone to fighter jet..that will be great

I am glad that my country Poland has purchased turkish drones well proven against russian equipment in Armenia. This is great piece of advanced technology we need to reinforce our combat capability. All together Poland is going to buy 96 of them. Those 24 unites already purchased is just a beginig of our long term co-operation with Turkey.

Yes I agree with you. We have good engineering but we can develope our combat drones in the time consuming process. Our armed forces require something effective right now. Our oun drones is a matter of 4-5 years to proceed.
@@Spartan-jg4bf If you're in a hurry to get something, it makes sense to buy it off the shelf. Especially if it's cheap.
If Poland started building out this tech today, it would take minimum 5 years to catch up (that is if you have world shatter engineers) and would end up costing Poland 10 times as much.
Sure in the long run you will save money but it makes more sense for Poland to buy these now to have them on the cheap and slowly start research for making their own. That way long term you can build them yourself but you also won't be left out in the cold naked without them short term.
Poland is being smart here, you really don't know what the future holds.
Will EU nations respond if Poland gets invaded? Big question mark.
What will the United States be doing at this time and will their attention be elsewhere? Another question mark.
It makes sense for Poland to stock up on any equipment they know works well against Russian equipment. If I'm Poland I'd order another 500 of the upgraded version of these. Can't hurt.

When it comes to national security nations don't like taking those types of risks, history has proven it to be a fatal strategy.
As far as Russia attacking Poland. I'm not sure my opinion on the issue matters. What matters is that Poland is nervous about it and I can't say I blame them.
