This is such an amazing technique to make hands! I'm sure I will need a few tries before getting it right but it's totally worth it. I think it's going to make my doll look amazing 😊
I am just so incredibly happy you have put these videos out the last 8 days. I have learned so much watching them that I was having trouble with in the last 5 years! You are a wonderful instructor with really good tips and knowledge. Thank you so much again for the videos!
Hi Tammy, thank you so much for your lovely comment. It is so good to hear that you have found the videos useful and helpful - there are more tutorials to come, and we plan to continue releasing tips and tricks to accompany new product launches! Best wishes, Beth - Team TOFT
Oh my goodness you have demonstrated the easiest way to do the hand with thumb and fingers. Thank you so very much for sharing this. If I was in front of you I would hug ya!!!!!! Do you have a demonstration on how to do a toe feet with ankle??? If so please share a link as I couldn't find it on your site.
This is such a good tutorial. It looks so fiddly to do, i'm not so sure i could do it, i might try the basic hand method. This is so creative, thanks for showing the process of how to do this. I wonder, do you have a tutorial of how to do the basic hand?
Hi Kaz, Thanks for your lovely comment. We don't have a video for the basic hand, but it is much easier and uses basic shaping which can be found in other videos. The chain start is used to begin (just as for the advanced hand) and then once you reach the hand section there are a few rounds of increasing and then decreasing to create the shape. If you are confident making the legs and body then the basic hands will be a breeze. If you get stuck though please send us an email on help@toftuk.com and we can help out. Best wishes and happy crocheting, Beth - Team TOFT
I have just started making my first doll and I regret not giving her pants by chosing a white yarn first. Do you perhaps have a video or pattern for pants and bra.
Hello, thank you! The pattern is printed in the Dolls book and is included in .pdf patterns when you buy a doll kit. www.toftuk.com/PD.aspx?product=Books/Books_by_Kerry_Lord/-Edwards_Doll_Emporium_Book_by_Kerry_Lord
The first finger is fine but it’s impossible to do the next without slipping into either a back or front loop and everything gets too tight to insert a hook. If you want to continue without throwing away the arm…..crochet around after completing the finger and keep crocheting until you make a palm with the original finger becoming a thumb. Decrease to finish off.
I bought one of the books and I was sooooo confused because of this. I have read the pattern, it says "DC" then checked the pictures whith clearly SCs, so I came here to check which one shall I use. 😂
Thanks for sharing, I got the part ch 6 then join with sl st then crochet around, but I don’t know how many rows to get where you are and how yo got 25 sets. Please help
Hello, this video is to accompany patterns (in our kits and books) which tell you how many rounds to do for a particular project. www.toftuk.com/CL.aspx?CatName=dolls

I love these videos you explain things so well. Is there a written pattern to download.

I do have a question in the pattern i have been working calls for a wire frame in the hand for being able to move the arms, how would you do that?
I would love the written version. And DC for you is SC for me
