I've bought a new compressor since building it and its a 10 bar machine rather than an 8bar so its got that little bit louder haha

Just a thought, if you are going to continue inventing these most useful devices, it may be a good time to start your own line of prosthetic arms and legs. Because in this line of work, you will never know when you will need a new hand, arm, leg, foot or even a replacement neck, as tie accidents are on the rise.

Colin could make it even safer by adding an automated cauterizing torch that turns the little bits into ashes for added security for people that may put the shreds together to find identity theft info and also take up even less space in the rubbish, as well as cauterizing any flesh that may enter the shredder. He should also do it because the excess blood will rust the gears.
What I admire the most is Colin's ability to not stick his fingers in everything he builds

For recycling it’s an absolutely genius idea. You could collect every 6 months rather than two weeks, and the government could spend more money on MP’s sports cars and fifth homes.

Love this idea. Here, we collect all the junk mail - everything without an address and/or name on it and then, when we have a decent pile, we go to the local post office and push it all back into their post box again. I usually get a glare from the post-mistress, but it lands in the post box with a very satisfying sound.
Now imagine a shredder that fits neatly over yer wheely bin... :D
