The Samsung Galaxy S series phones all used to do this years ago. This was my go-to feature for vlogging with my Galaxy S6 for years now, and I have used it in almost all my videos on my channel. Samsung got rid of the feature back with an update to the S8, which is really frustrating. I keep my old S6 around SOLELY for this purpose!! I hope this app will come to Android phones. I would so gladly pay $8 for this app. I would pay $20 to have this feature back again. I'm glad to see that others have discovered this, it's a fantastic feature. This really allows you to approach video story-telling from a whole new angle. You can show your audience what you're looking at, and they can also see your reaction at the same time.

Very nicely reviewed! ♥️ Obviously it has lots of technical limitations given that it is using both cameras at the same time. The app can only record at 25 fps and 1080p.

That is cool thank you. Can I use the back camera while the screen is facing. I have to do livestream. I use the selfie mode so I can see what I am doing. Will this app shoot facing me in selfie mode yet use the front camera while I am facing me. Allowing me to monitor what I am filming using the selfie position on a tripod. I hope that makes some sense. I appreciate your time.

When blogging does front lower res camera make a difference. To use higher res front camera you cant see yourself video..thoughts??
John Horowitz doesn’t matter. I used it for both. Switch front and back. The resolution pretty much the same.

Yes it's started on S4 and continously features on S5, S6, S7, S8, S9 and the latest S series
on note series it's started on note 3 and the rest updated note series has that features

Nice Video... I remember this feature was a USP in the Samsung Galaxy S4 in 2013... it was a super cool feature wonder why none are implementing it yet as a stock feature.

I love this app. I have the pro version and am trying to use it with the Rode Video Micro me-L on an iphone 11 max pro. I can't get any sound recorded. It works great with the internal mic but not the Rode mic. Have you tried this app with any external mic? Thanks!
I wrote to the company that makes the app and they are working on a fix. They didn't code the app to work with any external mics.
Haven’t tried it with an external mic as I don’t own one for my iPhone
Nice that they responded! Keep me updated here. Curious if it’ll save that audio to both the front and rear camera files. I’m just glad the update now got wide camera working
Dualgram already has a beta version fix for using an external mic. They wrote to ask if I would test the app fix but I already returned the Rode iphone mic. The mic also didn't work with a cover on the iphone and having to remove the cover to use the mic was far more work than I was willing to do. This company is responsive!
I had that same microphone from Rode and totally agree! I just saw that the DualGram update from OCT 21 now supports external mkcrlphoneb
