I hate when people consider aggro decks degenerate. Personally I play a variety of decks, including aggro, control, and combo, but sometimes I'm just in the mood to play shorter games
@@zackolot yeah but my point is that he took the deck that was posted and just made it big spell mage. It would be like doctoring a druid deck by taking out half of it and adding lich king, primordial drakes, hadronox, witching hour and cubes.
@@Rellenz the deck was trying to use hex lord malacrass to replicate the opening hand and use the opening hand to complete the quest. Deck doctor is about trying to make a deck work by improving upon its fundamental concept, not turning quest/malacrass mage into big spell mage.
At the start of the video I was impressed at how brave you were to play a random generation deck.....Then you updated it to a real deck ha ha. I still loved the game! You went full warrior on this guy. Who needs a win condition when you have board clears and armor?
I'm guessing he's just not very good at Hearthstone. Or could be somebody only playing odd paladin to quickly complete the "use hero power 30 times" quest.
That's why Antonidas was not in the original deck. Normally he's all like "you require my assistance?" but he saw this one and was like "nope" instead.
@@Venezuela386 well I mean he was topdecking in the end with no real plan or thing to play. In elemental mage your hand is pretty much never below 5 cards

Stomping Peak it just didn’t have a clear wincondition, the only way to win would be to get Jaina turn 9, and even then dealing enough danage would be a problem.
Awkward card in that you rarely find a great spot to play it. It's an even-cost elemental that you don't really want to use for activating the spellstone. In decks that have quest or Archmage Antonidas, you already have Sorcerer's Apprentice and a Chillwind Yeti with some additional spell cost-reduction is unlikely to help you win more games. Solid idea for a card and would be great as a 3-5 with taunt or as a Shaman card, though.
@@HippopotamusPencil when you've got a mage at like 3 hp and he has 4 cards in hand the last thing you expect is artificer->reflection->time warp->dragon's fury for a grand total of 24 armor. I don't think his reaction was BM I think he was like "you've got to be kidding me."
