- Here's Episode 6 of the second series of High Street Histories featuring illustrated conversations between historian Ivan Bunn and writer Dean Parkin, exploring Kirkley & the south of Lowestoft.
Episode 6 takes a look at some iconic Kirkley views many linked to Samuel Morton Peto, including the promenade, Marine Parade and Wellington Esplanade, plus the town's very own Grade 2 'star' listed building.

Created and edited by Dean Parkin, this episode features archive photographs from the Jack Rose Collection, the Bert Collyer Collection and from Ivan Bunn. The opening credits includes contemporary footage of Kirkley filmed by Joshua Freemantle's Sunrise Studios.
