You are correct......you also lead with the rear engine on takeoff. That minimizes the impact of any pepples kicked up by the front prop from hitting the rear prop. Also you know the rear engine is running....
Double rudder cables and controls is more mechanical systems than a single tail. Engine parts are cramped into tight spaces making it more risky. Its simply a better option to go with a single. This is a military aircraft design and it is overdue.
If I win the lottery, I am getting one of these.
i have a skymaster but because i am inside all the time i don't see what happens in the outside. looks pretty cool!
I love the fuel pump sound at the beginning, just like 'prepare for real music !'.
Excellent film footage and sound.
Thanks
Excellent photography. A pleasure to view. Thanks for posting. Ohhh... the subject helped heaps, as well.
Best wishes.
Turn the shutter off if you want to eliminate that "strobing" effect.
I read you are supposed to start the back engine first.
I don't know. I am not a pilot I was at the airport and did this video. The owner is a friend of mine.
I quit flying 40 years ago. Too much $$$
