    This, my friends, could very well be considered the BOSS among PC cooling fans. Let me introduce you - the Silent Wings Pro 4 by be quiet!.
    They may appear good, but fairly ordinary at first glance, but these fans do, in fact, come with additional physical features. Among those, most importantly, a switch to choose between 3 different RPM settings, ranging from 1600 to 3000 RPM.

      In what rpm do u run your case fans average?

    • @Nicolas11x12English
      @Nicolas11x12English  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@anandurajendran3864 In my personal rig I usually go for 800 - 1200 RPM, but I also allow certain fans to spin at 1700 RPM when the CPU is at full load while rendering, etc. :)

    Be Quiet has been killing it lately. I bought a Lightwings for my DeepCool AG400 which actually cost more than the cooler, but it looks and works great and is extremely quiet.

      Indeed. Actually both be quiet! and DeepCool are doing a fairly good job lately. Of course, DeepCool's fans need improvements, but their heatsink and design language are top-notch now. :D

    nice video but may i ask why isnt noctua NFA12 included?

    • @Nicolas11x12English
      @Nicolas11x12English  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because I need to save money and can't buy three of them right now. Maybe I should get in touch with Noctua. There's a chance they would provide me the needed fans for a proper comparison. :)

    Do you also plan on making a Review on the new Arctic P12 max? Would be a good comparison

      I sure hope so. At least I plan on doing that sometime this year.

    Hi, could you please clarify which of the CPU temperatures is being listed (CPU/package/average/die etc.). Also is the temperature the absolute value or the delta above ambient? Thanks for the informative video regardless.

    • @Nicolas11x12English
      @Nicolas11x12English  ปีที่แล้ว

      On the AMD system it's the Die temperature, on the Intel side the CPU package temperature. What I'm showing are the averages of the max achieved temperatures within 20 minutes.
      Also I always try my best to test at an ambient temperature of exactly 21°C so I don't need to work with Delta. My studio usually is pretty chilly. So in winter I just need to heat it up and in summer it's usually 20 - 24°C. Therefore I need to do good planning to be able to test at exactly 21 degrees.
      Thank you for your kind words! :)

      @@Nicolas11x12English Thanks for the reply. That is a seriously impressive cooler. Hovering around 60C under Prime95 is excellent.
      I only have the basic Pure Wings2 in my PC (case front and back, and CPU) but am super happy nonetheless.

      @@Totto70770 Indeed, but to be fair, the 5950X isn't really the hottest-running CPU out there. It's fairly easily cooled with somewhat decent cooling solutions. :)
      I would've used a different CPU for my fan tests, but at the time I only had the 5950X available for that kind of use case.
      And switching to a different CPU and/or platform involved a lot of re-testing, which is really hard for me especially due to having to work with exact 21°C ambient temperatures. So for now I'm sticking with the 5950X. :D
      The Pure Wings 2 are fairly decent. I can't complain. They offer solid performance, but are noticeably louder compared to the performance of those new Silent Wings (Pro) 4 fans. :)

      I agree. The boss of PC fans is the Phanteks T30. If you don't want to spend that much money then the Arctic P12 Max is boss.
