Not to mention it gives an excuse for the alternate timeline or alternate reality that the sims 4 exists in with the time machine from The sims 3 Ambitions and The Time Portal from Sims 3 Into the future
In my sims 3 I got her to have a baby with her dead husband but she had triplets and it was a struggle for poor Agnes all on her own lmao

@@crazycavalier his grave is on her home lot, I made them rekindle their relationship and then try for a baby and then boom triplets (one human, two ghost babies, very cute!)

@@hungrywarnergaming5263 yep! Any occult has a 50% chance of having an occult baby, so if a ghost sim tries for baby then the baby has a 50% chance of being a ghost of the same colour/type as their parent

As a kid who played Sims 3, I had a mission to create this playboy heartbreaker and I've broken a few hearts, but I genuinely fell in love with Agnes and had my Sim move in with her because their relationship was just so cute to me 😭💜
The sims 4 seems to be making its own lore regarding Agnes. In cotage living, if you befriend her, she mentions how her previous relationships did not end well. She than names both Robert and Eric, but she never says what happened to them. However, in the horse ranch DLC, there is a new character named Roberto who is old and has a very curious last name 🤔.

the first sims i played was sims 3 and i had no clue about previous lore. to me agnes was just a random npc that i thought was cute. so my sim married her and had kids with her which started the longest family line i ever had. now that i know much more about sims lore i find that kinda cute
I always felt bad for Agnes but I found out she wasn't all by herself at least. She had her sister in Sims 3, Cornelia Goth. (Only found this out recently)
In Sims 4 she has her sister at least ❤
And a Mr. Crumplebottom in the horse ranch pack! 😩😭

She also wasn't just widowed once, but twice. Theres an chandlier in the sims 1(?) that states it was what killed Mr. Crumplebottom. Also in the sims 4 horse ranch pack, people believe the mysterious ranger Appletop or whatever to be Mr. Crumplebottom in disguise.

In Sims 4 when Sims constantly ask mine if they should date anyone, my Ranch Hand asked about Agnes and ended up going on a date then falling in love. I guess it's not too late for anyone.

Doesn't she also have some family members Beatrice, Belinda and Bianca and they are all witches? They are in the supernatural pack. Their last name is also Crumplebottom and if you Google their family name they show up as well. Since Cornelia is Agnes sister, and she apparently died after Mortimer retired, and in the sims 4 Mortimer is still working, it would make sense for Cornelia to appear along with her sister in the cottage living pack?
Sims 4 is an alternate time line/universe. You shouldn't try to connect what happens in it with the previous games.
Shes just trying to save them from the inevitable suffering 😢

When I got my sims to woohoo in a bush, all of the sudden I got hit by an old lady with her purse and then she just ran off! I was so confused, all I got was an angry moodlet that said “Crumplbottomed” I was like; “Why did I just get hit by some old lady?” 😂
I always liked Agnes in the sims 3. My sims married her quite a lot so I think it's nice looking back that you can give her a chance to find love again.

If I remember right Agnes was in the sims 2 as well smacking people with her purse as per usual and as you’ve mentioned before the sims3 is basically a possibility of the multi-verse I would think that maybe 🤔 the reason she is the way she is, is because a certain play-boy by the name Don (but under another name) faked his own death and after she finally saw him again after his “death” it made her bitter and she’s been chasing him down to actually finish him off “death by purse” but by seeing other happy couples it triggers her and that’s why she attacks them….

When I played Sims 3. noticed how angry she is when her husband eric visited her and It's like Agnes ignores his presence.

In dutch she is called Rimpelbil which translates to wrinklybutt

In my sims 4 save she ended up being aged down and turned into a maid until she learned her lesson which resulted in her falling in love with my male sim
im crying now, because im 60 and had a couple miscarriage's before i had my beautiful daughter, who is now in her 30s. i will download her, and give her the life she deserves in Sims 4, as a young lady!

Also in Sims 3 barnacle bay it's hinted that another woman going by Agnes Seabottom stole her identity and wealth (she recently drowned at my pool party in barnacle bay save rip most rancid femcel ever)
In my sims 3 playthrough I made Agnes a husband, they had a daughter, Lily, who also got married and had a daughter, Rose. Then when her daughter and her family were visiting Grandma Agnes and Grandpa Hubert, Lily's husband was looking through the telescope and a meteor fell and I tried getting everyone away from the fire but you know sims 3, it takes 5 minutes to listen to a command. Hubert, Lily and her husband all died. I had Agnes raise her granddaughter Rose. It was the first time a game ever left me stunned and crying.
I feel bad for her suffering, but the way she treats people still sucks. Like, just cuz you haven't been happy in the last five decades doesn't mean I can't be. I don't even know you, Agnes!
How are you getting all these backstories? All I see are random sims that interrupt dates and conversations when my sims are out in public.

I unknowingly made all of my sims lgbt, so whenever they did anything romantic in front of Agnes she would flip out. That made me believe, for an embarrassing amount of time, that EA had included a homophobic npc for some reason lmao
