Princess Yachts, you owe Nick from Aquaholic a favour after his recommendation for this vid....bringing you thousands of viewers!!! Have to say....very interesting....whole way I was like, is all this worth it to have this one boat, but what a boat it is!!! The effort and attention to detail for this is awesome!!
Amazing video. Always wondered about the logistics of moving boats to the show. Thank you Princess and the teams involved, a world class professional operation and a fantastic looking yacht.
very nice video! Was sent here by Aquaholic. Now I dream of a review by Aquaholic of this beautiful ship! Providing the generous owner would agree, of course! The ship can't get better publicity than from Aquaholic. :)
Question. For what reason exactly, would the owner be enticed to provide is yacht for this. I cannot think of any reason why. Can some answer please genuine question
The only person who can answer that is the owner. However Princess are a fantastic company to by a yacht from, I bought one from them myself and their customer service is second to none so the owner will have a great relationship with them. Also another incentive is it came out of the water in February and princess obviously lifted, serviced, cleaned, anti-fouled and detailed the whole boat free of charge and that is not cheap on any yacht let alone a 35m one!
Ok, but how are other boats brought to the show? Is it that hard for other manufacturers as well? Btw, I am also here because of Aquaholic’s recommendation :)
They come the same way but motoring them selves up river. Then hoisted out by Big Willy. This was just to big of a boat, and they did not want to put hrs on the enginges, since it was a customer boat.
I didn't listen to Aquaholic, I found you through TH-cam. Impressive project management and demonstrates the expenses involved in marketing these big boats. Wouldn't it be cheaper to dish out colour brochures with a 50 Euro note tucked in each copy, instead of all that fuss? ;)
why dont they just drive the boats from a to b on their own engine and why dont they just build the hal lat the river with a BIG pier with a BIG crane on it ??? this is just waste of time and money.!
Has the corona virus has got a say in all this? Unless it'll be a social distancing boat show, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of having such a public event.
Short answer - NO Longer answer - Boot Dusseldorf takes place in January, before coronavirus was identified as such a major issue as far as 2020 is concerned, but the video is about the 2018 show anyway, as it clearly states in the description.
That's awesome!
Made my spine tingle.
Hi aquaholic
@Viking Hoping that the opportunity might present itself at some stage :)
AQUAHOLIC hi love your channel. You are my favourite youtuber
Wondering if I would see you here.
Got directed here by Aquaholic, not disappointed I might add, she looks huge out of the water, beautiful boat.
Well done Princess. Love your fleet up to 40M. A factory tour and build process are fantastic. Thankyou
Aquaholic sent me here and well worth watching a excellent behind the scenes look at Princess yachts 👍
As soon as I read your comment, my hairs stood on end!, just goes to show how much Princess love doing what they do best!.

Aquaholic deserves a bigger boat. I think all brands should chip in and get him a nice 100ft yacht.
Brilliant! A proper gift for Nick!
thanks for the recommendation Nick.
Sent here by Nick(Aquaholic). What a great video, love to see some more similar videos..
Fascinating stuff. Hats off to all involved in that spectacular move.

Nice topic, i allways wondered! Great Video!
Brilliant video.
Absolutely amazing! Thank you for posting this.
A real insight into top end logistics. I really enjoyed this VT.
A fascinating video.
This is crazy!
Thanks for the recommend Aquaholic!
An interesting little documentary.
Great job lads,well done!
A great video - boat builders need to produce more content like this. Shame about the SIX mid-roll ads during the video though
phenomenal documentary!
Impressive!
Fantastic insight, thanks. But 'flagship 35m', what about the 40m? Cheers for the heads up nick.
Loved it... Come from aqua
Fascinating! ✔️
Fascinating, what does it take to board a boat like this at the show?
Great vid, directed here by Nick @aquahloic
I am proud to say i was there
Aquaholic said "go there", so here I am.
Im gonna own one of these beauty's someday idk how yet but im gonna put 200% in to achieve this goal

Yeah free servicing under the waterline cleaning, inside and out cleaning which would be probably £60k and maybe some future favours.
You had the sound of the mains firing up but the volts indicator is for the generator. That’s a completely different noise 6:33
There is a Ship who Ship Ships! wow

Morten Sorby thanks for the explanation :)
Bravo Zulu to all involved!
Hi there, it must have cost as much as the boat itself to transport it to the boat show.
I know this is sad but I would have liked to have seen it being cleaned up and detailed, and having the stand built around it.
Looking nice.
But does the Boot Düsseldorf actually take place this year?
It was in January so yes. This video was for the 2018 show.
Thank you to the owner of EL GUAJIRO 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Princess does make the best yachts though
What a smart idea to decide to set up a boat exhibition in a city with no seaside! Compliments germans!

So this is how you ship a ship
Why not motor this hatch all the way?
Finally Jenga is useful
Wow
😍😍😍😍
OK - I'll take 2 of them.
Complete noobie here, wouldn’t a yacht of that size not be able to make that trip on its own, without the need for all that loading/ unloading?
As said in the video, they don't want to put hours on the engines. And doing this trip in the winter might not be such a good idea
Interesting name. In America it would translate to rustic, boorish.
In Cuba it would translate to peasant.
Why don’t they just move the show to somewhere on the water....seems like a lot of ridiculous work and expense...
Putting blocks under the vessel whilst it's hanging above you by the straps , That's what seperates men from the boys
LOL. 250K potential customers? Doubtful!
v40 👍

I wouldn’t of borrowed my 12 million pound boat are u mad
Pretty interesting. Too much face time and not enough of the actual movement.
