@@lostmoviemusic1289 that’s what I’m thinking too 😔 everyone hating on the RoP writers but fact is that if the Tolkien estate would have given them full rights to the silmarillian we could had a masterpiece (am enjoying season 2 though) I can kind of understand it though with the way the likes of Disney have ruined franchises they were given the rights to. @@anti-mate407 the exact passage goes like this; Eru starts the melodies, the music of the Ainur begins, and then Melkor starts changing it to discord. The first time, Eru smiles, and raises His hand and weaves the discord into a new melody. But then Melkor doesn’t desist, and his music becomes even more discordant and chaotic to where Ainur stop singing because it is too terrible and horrific to behold. Then, Eru stands up, and his face is “stern”, but he just raises his hand again and begins a third melody, slow, quiet, and sad. And again, Melkor’s discordance becomes a cacophony of noises, clamorous and braying, and we get this passage: ‘In the midst of this strife, whereat the halls of Iluvatar shook and a tremor ran out into the silences yet unmoved, Iluvatar arose a third time, *and his face was terrible to behold* Then he raised up both his hands, and in one chord, deeper than the Abyss, higher than the Firmament, piercing as the light of the eye of Iluvatar, the Music ceased.’ So that’s what my comment is referencing, tho I suppose it’s mixing his second “stands up and is stern” with the third “He arose and His face was terrible to behold”.

I love the feeling of impending doom this theme evokes. Absolutely fitting for a fallen Vala devoted to spreading the shadow and misery across the world.
@@Mysterious_Fork maybe a theme for one of the other Valar? Or one of the locations? I wouldn't mind another one for Eregion, big fan of the elven smiths. Or maybe one for Adar? I'm actually quite enjoying the series after maybe a bit of a bumpy start, and am pleasantly surprised that they even managed to create an original character that's become quite iconic. Also I really enjoy the other themes you've created, especially the Sauron ones!
If they actually had included Morgoth in the Rings of Power. I do wonder how they would have made him look and how his personality would be. Would he have a similar personality to Sauron? Charming and charismatic and cunning. Or maybe just make him downright straight evil.
@@kongsied4279 thank you very much. My inspiration while creating this piece was not only the TV series but also the film trilogy and The Silmarillion.
@Mysterious_Fork Yes it really gives me the vibes of when Morgoth is saved by the balrogs from Ungoliant, and returns to Angband to place the silmarils in his iron crown, but no I definitely enjoyed Sauron/Anitar in the show.
Thank you very much. As for the love theme between Galadriel and Sauron, it's quite controversial. 😅 But I'll think about their musical theme if Galadriel had accepted Sauron's offer and joined him. I'll see if I can come up with something.
@@morgothsring2275 RoP propably got one of the best scores in the last 20 years. With other words: since Jerry Goldsmith sadly passed away in 2004. I'm glad that Amazon gave him so much creative freedom and that we didn't get another generic Zimmer clone.
@@Stereozentrum I don’t watch things for their soundtracks, though a good soundtrack does help. Sucks that RoP sucks so bad, it lessens the impact the music has on me.

Even if they don't do the whole Silmarillion, we will absolutely see him if they adapt Children of Hurin.
@@Rauruatreides i wouldnt want to see any of it unless they had all of the source material.
@@lostmoviemusic1289THANK GOD!
Very foreboding. If it had a choir with heavy bass vocals and discordant melodies that would be very fitting with Morgoth's origin.
Something like a good and clean choir, interrupted by dark, wrong notes
Discordance is such a key term
We need a show about the first age.

Eru Illuvatar has been pretty quiet since this dropped
Tho He did just stand up and scowl…

He wasn't in the second age in the lore BUT if he was then loads of evidence points to him just being pure evil and nothing like sauron

I am honest: I like it better than the show's uninspired music. This reminds me more of Howard Shore's work.
Thank you very much. That's quite a compliment. Personally, I love both Howard Shore's music for movies, and Bear McCreary's music for the series.
@@Mysterious_Fork normally I absolutely love Bear's work, but in this series I found it dull. Anyway, good work!

In my opinion McCreary's work is even better than Shore's, who of course did an incrdible job for the original films.
Hard disagree. Rings of Power is garbage. I like Bear, but he’s not at the same level as Howard Shore.

Shore made some really iconic themes, but McCreary has a much wider range. Dude gave us both the Rhun theme and the Last Bazllad of Damrod
