I didn't get the hmf because of your review stating the repacking thing with them. So thanks for that. This looks like a great option. I got a good deal on a mbrp. Yeah pass the word on being careful in the woods for forest fires. We just got through a province wide ban up here in nova scotia. Thanks again for your informative fun videos
Yah it definitely sucks because I loved the sound of the hmf. I’m keeping it around for my dads 650 if they ever decided to sell the kit to the public. The MBRP sounds great. The other reason I went with this is to have something different that you don’t see many people running.
Do big guns have to be tuned?? Do they add any horsepower cuz the h m f one does but it’s for horsepower?? Please let me know because I’m looking to buy a new pipe for my new outlander and I’m wanting it for sound but mainly for the performance?? Please let me know…. Thanks Paul.
Definitely a good option for someone looking for something quieter. Definitely would consider it down the road because the old empire that hasn’t been repacked in a good while gets a little loud.
Hi, what is like with comparisson with 2 brothers? Which one is louder? I am afram that the big gun will be louder than RJWC which is way too loud for me...
It’s much louder then rjwc and has a much more tolerable tone. The rjwc is very raspy. If you want even quieter there’s mbrp. The big gun is very comparable to the mbrp, it’s just slightly louder.
What tires are you using? I'm looking for some myself for a polaris xp1000 that would be good for mud and road. I think you just sold me on exhaust as well. I've been looking at this or a mbrp
Big gun sounds good! I won’t be getting a new exhaust till about August. I agree about HMF completely how, they should sell repack kits. Their exhaust sounds good but, not if you are down a week and a half.
I live in NYS too, about halfway between Syracuse and Utica, north of the thruway. Just bought my first brand new ATV a couple months ago, a '23 Outlander XT-P Max 1000. Whereabouts are you guys?
All stock except a tune, clutches, and the exhaust. Been trying to get the clutches dialed in on it. Clutching makes a massive difference getting power to the wheels.
It has a special insert that makes it the qs series can’t can’t be cleaned. It’s like a double baffle. The insert is what costs most of the money. It gets clogged with mud and rusted.

Were you running the quiet core or spark arrestor in this video?
Nope, just out of the box.
Sounds good, bud. I gotta get with you guys one day, go riding 👍👍
Awesome got to love a nice loud exhaust 💯 😎

Yah man, it’s not too loud at all. It’s still way louder then stock but definitely manageable

does it need to be tuned? what do you think abourt yoshimura and muzzy?
@@ОлегЛизун The Yoshi has a similar sound to the big gun and mbrp. Not sure about the Muzzy.

The mbrp is great sounding. The road part makes it harder, Motohavoks might be the way to go.

South in the Hudson valley. Newburgh area.
whats done to your bike? it seems very quick

Did you have to get a tuner
We use flash tunes on our machine and recommend them even on a stock machine as they’re very lean from the factory.
Why would you have to send it in?? My brute force has a hmf and we just drilled the rivets out and repacked it ourselves.
