Shimon; I Miss the Original Sick Puppies! Saw you all live a few times. Was sad when you decided to Leave the Band. But that being said The Band is now releasing a new album but I miss the original Emotion! Now For where you Are with your Music and Ideas for Music is Very Mindful. I think Master Class was a Good Choice for you!
Interesting stuff. I'd never thought about writing anything, but will look at his stuff now. There should be a KTVA Podcast. Where KT and associates interview people. Does not have to be only musicians. Anything that brings people together would be great in the current times we live in.
Honestly sick puppies helped contribute to keeping my ass alive for the last 4-7yrs or so... Definitely in the top 10 of all time anthems it's right up there with Queen
Beautiful session. Ah yes, humility, the great education philosopher Paulo Freire talks about "courageous humility." It is linked to the notion of "passionate listening" and respecting the dignity of all people. If we are not willing to listen we are not willing to learn and then we cannot teach. Ken and Shim strike one as true listeners in possession of courageous humility. Passionate listening leads to passionate speaking and passionate creativity.
Everything you two described is exactly why a lot of us are totally addicted to a certain artist. I'll drop his name for you to jot down for a future episode when you're looking for a special guest. His name is Dan Vasc.
