My Dad had one, and didn't apply the decals. I remember seeing them, they were under like a white, waxed-paper, or something similar. Anyway, my parents were getting divorced (I know), and Dad stored it at our house, under a car cover. One day I took the cover off (11 yrs. old) and started her up. Nice rumble, from a kid's point of view. I actually put it in reverse, and the car kinda jumped a bit. I put it back in park, and wondered what Dad would have done to me, if I went any further. Scary memory!

Agree with others, pricing would be a bonus. Maybe a bit more history about the stickers (often added by the buyer after the sale) etc. This was a historic car, overproduced because everyone wanted one, but maybe one day these will go up in value. Highest end, low mileage examples are about $40,000, lower end, high mileage examples, with replaced parts, etc., run around $15,000, but they have not really gone up like other vettes imo.
You probably will not make money but you will have fun.
Everyone with a '78 Indy keeps it in a garage hoping to make a big profit. But they were great driving 'Vettes! Good suspension & brakes, great handling. Pull the L-82 (it's a 4-bolt block!), bore .030" over, add 383 stroker kit. Have a good 3-angle valve job and minor port/polish on the good stock iron 2.02/1.60 heads, proper cam and re-jet the carb or Holley SNYPER FI.. Drop the TH-350 and bolt-in a well built 700-R4 (need new crossmember). You'll have a FUN daily driver and weekend strip burner.

I almost bought one of these 20 years ago. Then the guy showed up with A seventy three roadster Day of purchase had to have it still got it
I luv mustangs too. Only the ones with the pinto body style. Oh el Camino too the late 70s
I test drove one back in 1985. It was $12,500. I passed on it.

I have my original Corvette stringray that i got when I was 16 years old and I seen and drove the 1978 pace car it's not like mine at all it's different
Great car, stagnant in investment dollars, but a mean ass corvette. Always saw these up and down the street as a kid, thought it was the meanest corvette for a long, long time. I honestly think the car feels much faster than most people would think. Visibility is awful with the long hood and low seats, but tires are VERY price at $2000 to replace them with genuine Good Year OWL's.
Yeah but those Goodyear P255 R60s with the outlined lettering are da bomb!
No matter how good those Goodyear tires look, they are not worth 2k, ripoff

I have this exact car but one of the T top windows is cracked??? Any suggestions on where to find one plus my hood stripe is cracking....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Did NOT have the correct t-tops on it. Original was only Vette produced with MIRRORED GLASS t-tops.
Not correct radio either.
