Powered by the optional L82 Engine producing 220 horsepower and connected to an automatic transmission. This Corvette is finished in the anniversary silver paint over rare dark blue leather interior. Mary Anne's seriously on a Chevy/American Muscle kick this week. And that's a wonderful thing. My late uncle had many 'Vettes, including a dark blue '79 in the mid '80s. Always fun to ride in.

Dam I remember going 2a dealer on 78 seeing one on the floor thought it was so hot. but 220 horses now is from most 4 bangers lol...
Yea what a shame to compared to the earlier corvettes. What's even worse than that is the 1975 corvette. It only put out a whopping 165 hp. Totally bogus. But even with that year you could swap out the cam and rip out that smog pump and easily get 225 hp.
No it's not the same 220 HP they need turbo and feel gutless cause have no torque. It's like with truck that has "only" 400HP but huge torque at low rpm also it's a 350 jesus how many mods are for those motors really it's not a problem lol
@@V8_screw_electric_cars My 2.0 TSI four banger makes 261hp and 317ft/lbs of torque. It pulls strong.
@@SpinnakerFL yeah at what rpm lol you can't compare it and anyway small block it's so easy to mod 400HP is not a problem and that's without any gay turbos

Pin stripes are missing on the hood... I have a 78 S.A. I think the L-82 had 2 air ducts leading into the air filter. Not one like this one.

I have one 25th anniversary and hes already upgraded and today im searching if i find the price of my car but i cant find it i need to go to a person that can tell me the price because in imternet i cant find it and my shevrolet corvette is in black i find it really cool

That is not a propper 1978 Anniversary. The Interior would have been cream, with cream carpet and door cards. Which leads me to believe, that someone took an ordinary silver colour car and resprayed it. There were 2 special edition cars released in 1978. One was Anniversary and the other was Pace Car (black over silver exterior) ... and both special editions came with BF Goodrich tyres and wheels had red stripe on the rim. When you look at the serial number on top of the dash, you will be able to find exact colours. I had propper Anniversary with Hooker headers, Holley 6120, Crane cam, Cherry bombs and few other goodies ... it produced 420 HP on dyno.
Respraying stock car with anniversary colours, doesn't add to the value ... the seller would have done better spending the money elsewhere.

Ok how do you change or from where do you buy consumables such as parts or breaks tires suspensions stuff after they expire or break if you live in a remote place in Ukraine Russia Romania Greece or in Asia for example if all the car shops sale European and Asian car parts!?
