Fairplay to Shaun, kicked the ring out of the gear and still here to tell the story. ADHD is not easy to live with, forgetting things and losing interest in everything from business to relationship's ❤️

@@georgiecross9921exactly. Heroin crack ecciies but he started cycling at at late age to compensate 😂😂. ADHD is nothing to do with his health .. his past habits have.. just admit it.. love the guy. Grew up with this legend
@@multivox_musikmate guy took more drugs than dinners...then it becomes ADHD..if he has ADHD I have ADHD...drugs leave long lasting damage that can seem smilliar

ADHD isn't an excuse but an explanation for how your brain works. Fair play to him for being so brave and honest. People who stigmatise ADHD don't fully understand it.

I think theyr'e all mint but i love the Mondays,seen em 5 times both over here and in L.A(call the cops at the Palladium in 1990--insane mannnnnnn:))
Stones roses the greatest band? 😂 they made 2 albums! ,The second one sounding like a led zeppelin tribute album!? ......The greatest band is JOY DIVISION, with 808 state coming in second
You're all wrong. Greatest Manchester band ever are The Smiths. Stone Roses get best debut album (ever imo) Oasis get best live act and 2nd best debut album. A Guy Called Gerald gets best anthem with "Voodoo Ray", "Sit Down" by James a close second. Shaun Ryder has given us some classic lyrics and phrases, "Your twisting my melon" being a good example. Personally "son, I'm thirty, I only went with your mother coz she's dirty" is hard to beat! Happy Mondays, James, Inspiral Carpets, Black Grape, Joy Division, New Order all fantastic bands - an embarrassment of riches you could say.
It was brilliant being a teenager from Manchester back then...we didn't know how lucky we were. And on the 8th Day.......😎✌

I’m a massive fan of Shaun, The Mondays and Black Grape, read his books… but he doesn’t half go on about ADHD these days!
If that’s the reason he led such a crazy life, he should be grateful he had it - otherwise he might not have formed The Mondays and spent his life being a postman!
ADHD is no joke. He probably took drugs to self medicate to cope.

You need to know his full story before deciding that.
He grew up in the 70’s and said he was always into the glamour of rock n roll, a lot of musicians are like that.
He used to rewatch David Essex ‘Stardust’, the Rolling Stones ‘Gimme Shelter’ documentary, and the film ‘Performance’ with Mick Jagger.
Maybe every musician or creative person who didn’t enjoy school had ADHD, but some people just have personalities that find normal life a bit dry and have a wild streak.
Noel Gallagher for example disliked school, left with nothing, and was always drawn to music like Bowie and Mark Bolan - but he never mentions ADHD.
Ian Brown didn’t like school, he liked Bruce Lee and scooters, he never mentions ADHD either.
Even Bez, Shaun’s mate from The Mondays, doesn’t put any of his behaviour down to ADHD.

Odd that his older kids turned out alright, but his teenagers have been diagnosed with ADHD….it’s almost as if it’s a social contagion
What a coincidence that all 4 that got tested for adhd got diagnosed with it, can this clown not understand basic psychology🤣 adhd is about as real as the tooth fairy
