What Mrs. Fenton says about avoiding too much movement in our days can largely be translated into an application of _keyboard shortcuts,_ like a usage of the "Home" or "End" keys, or skipping across words with the "Control" key and arrow keys. These shortcuts now can enable you to avoid grabbing the computer mouse thousands of times per year.
Although I use a microcomputer personally, the "typewriting" excerpts shown in this show work perfectly well for me. I still "keyboard" with all fingers and the right thumb without looking below at the keys and space bar, even to return my fingers to the home keys. I began typewriting when I was 12 years old. The secret is that a former co-worker said, "if you can "keyboard" fast and accurately, you can learn to use any machine that has a typewriter-like keyboard.
On days when I am not working I always take care not too watch I this in aid of it might influence me too go back too my typewriters, I’ve eleven of them.
Note what is shown in this video can apply to computer keyboards of today. Unfortunately most computer keyboards are flat and not sloped as on a real typewriter. The real sloping is best.
i lol so hard at the social norms back in the day. Also its pretty dang impressive how fast theyre typing cuz you really gotta punch they key down. It would blow their freakin' minds to see even a simple [digital] word processor. "what? what is erase?! you ca-- ...oh my lanta"
To type as she does you have to be able to endure a strict program of learning and discipline .I think that if the tehcnology fail is very probable to fail this clip would save many businesses from falling to the bogtum , wee belive that theology is so safe that we forget that the basic methods contain no value . So this clip is more than helpfull if the computers fail , because we have mail box .

This was oddly hypnotic. I couldn't stop watching it.
I sometimes put it on to go to sleep.
Even in the 1940s they made fun of one finger typing

There was never wunnce wunn no arrogant typist teacher.
Well, of course, because it was never proper.

I still remember typing in the old type writer.
This is fabulous!
These vidoes are fun to watch even today.
What if you're an individual who still utilises typewriters?
@@proletariennenaturiste I actually do. I own a Smith-corona - the best typewriter I ever tried.
The gentle sexism in this video warms my heart
Whereas the Soviet Union at the time didn't have such. Females in the military served as fighter pilots, snipers, etc.

Late reply but basically it is piece of tape trough which the previous key is punched to the fresh ink and most of it gets lifted
The irony in that you can’t complete a sentence.
Getting a good impression on the paper takes much less force than it looks. It just takes a tap.
