@@SanveerRamterath The way market traders work is more than half but at the wholesale market and retail it on their stall. You probablybuy at the wholesale couple of days before market day and quite a lot of stuff start to perish after paying for what you’ve bid .If the market was air conditioned they could have moved it there on the same day and the set temperatures would have kept the produce for longer and keep prices down I gather from what you mean by stocks being sold on the day is that the traders sell all their goods on that day and clear all their stocks. I’m afraid it doesn’t work like that and if you go around 2.30 pm onwards at these markets the traders start reducing prices to clear whatever they have remaining and selling cheap to clear your goods doesn’t make good business sense but they do so because whatever is left won’t keep till the next market day and that eat into profits Now stock do remain and in some instances what started as a green cabbage end up having a few leaves removed at each market day that after a few weeks those cabbages look like a human brain which have been stored in formaldehyde and the cabbage as white as Rajesh Bhagwan of the MMM That cabbage would have kept longer and fresher if the market was air conditioned and have you eaten such a cabbage?
With traders parking their vans all day in the car park there won’t be enough parking spaces for customers

It’s an eyesore poorly designed and for a tropical country it should have been air conditioned to keep vegetables fresher for longer
They probably sell stocks per day
