Dr. Stafford North was a distinguished professor of Bible at Oklahoma Christian University. Here’s a summary of his background and accomplishments:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University in 1950.
Master’s degree from Louisiana State University in 1952.
Doctorate from the University of Florida in 19571.
Teaching Career:
Dr. North taught at Oklahoma Christian University since 1952.
For 38 years, he served in the administration at Oklahoma Christian, including being Executive Vice President for twenty years.
Since 1994, he focused on teaching full-time in the College of Biblical Studies.

Without the church there is no need for a tribulation. The church will be the object of the tribulation.
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, (the remnant church) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, *which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ*

(These are already sealed with the Holy Spirit, so this is not speaking of being born again.)
“For as the lightning *cometh out of the east* and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and *ten horns* and upon his horns *ten crowns* and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: *and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority*
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; *and his deadly wound was healed* and all the world wondered after the beast.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having *seven heads and ten horns*

Why are there no crowns on this beast as in the days of the former?
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, *which have received no kingdom as yet* but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Revelation 13:1-10 the (conglomerate) beast from out of the sea.

The symbolism of the seven seals are (seven) signatures as per - The ketubah, (“is written”) a Jewish marriage contract.
The seven churches of Revelation gives us clues as to who the witnesses to the contract are.
Ephesus > Adam
Rev 2:5 " Remember therefore from whence you art fallin"...
Smyrna < Noah
Rev 2:8 " These things said the first and the last"...
Pergamos > Abraham
Rev 2:17 ..."and in the stone a new name written,"...
Thyatira > Jacob / Israel
Rev 2:28 "And I will give him the morning star."

Laodicea > Jesus Christ the Bridegroom and his bride, the Israel of God.
--All pointing to dispensations of time in order of their time on earth.
"He that have an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [singular] saith unto the churches" [plural].

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the church[es]. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
{Revelation 22:16}
“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;”

--One body of Jesus Christ having *seven* dispensations of time (the spiritual condition of Christ church, and judgments....prophetic continuance) during the dispensation of Grace.

The book of Revelation uses symbolism.
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which *SPIRITUALLY* is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
{Revelation 11:8}
“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, [67-70 A.D.]

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot

Same time dispensation as,
And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another ["little horn" Dan 7:8] shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until 👉a time and times and the dividing of time.
{Daniel 7:24-25}
--Time of the Gentiles:
A time = 360
Times = 720
The dividing of time (an half Dan 12:7) =180.
= 1,260 prophetic days = 1,260 years.
forty and two months = 1,260 days or a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
--From 538 - 1798 A.D. ("the time of the end") when this beast received a deadly wound, but the deadly wound was healed in 1929 when this false church's secular sword was restored unto her, although her spiritual sword she never lost, for she boast that she is the mother church.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and 👉all the world wondered after the beast.
{Revelation 13:3}
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth 👉shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

*Historicism* (prophetic continuance) principle:
And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: 👉I have appointed thee each day for a year.
{Ezekiel 4:6}
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days,
👉each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.
