    Fascinating...I knew George was smart but not as outrageously smart as this! The interviewer comes over as a petulant child, and George tears him to shreds!

      Interviewer was a typical smug ass Britt! George had him for lunch.

      @@alcameron6071 The interviewer did his job and did it well, there was no easy let-up for George and rightly so. Besides, George was able to handle it perfectly. I think the interview was very good hence why we all enjoyed it so much. That interviewer would do the same for someone in politics and didn't "dumb down" his questions because George is "just a Pop singer".
      Great interview. I wonder what he would be saying about 2022! George for Prime Minster!!

    After watching this, I am more convinced than ever that George Michael is the perfect human being: immense talent, drop dead gorgeous, a heaven sent pitch perfect voice, an awesome bod, an inspiring musical and lyrical composer, kind, thoughtful, generous, intelligent and as proven here, very knowledgeable politically and could certainly stand his ground, all the while maintaining his honesty and moral principals. WHAT AN AMAZING MAN!! I LOVE YOU GEORGE.

    George was wise beyond his years.. His lyrics soulful and heart felt from day one. He was and remains the ONLY entertainer from 1982- present day that not only had legitimate and natural talent, big heart, old soul and an absolute beautiful man inside and out.. no one like him... I hate that he got so much crap from news and tabloids.. just goes to show he was a threat or they would not have hit at him so hard

    Come mi manchi terribilmente George.
    Sei stato il compagno della mia gioventù e oltre fino a quattro anni e nove mesi fa.
    Sei sempre nel mio cuore.

    Goerge really kept himself in the fight here so to speak, he would not let that interviewer get to him and wear him out.
    As for George's assessment of the music industry amongst the war debate, it was incredibly spot on and real. Especially the self-destructive behaviour of USA youth culture.
    We don't have "artists" that sing from their own experience or hearts and minds. We have is hired performers, actors, pretenders acting as "pop" or music stars.

    • @diana7676
      @diana7676 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      George always had a sense of knowing. I think he was very aware of so many things, almost on a different wave length. This all contributed to him seeing the world differently. So many of George's lessons, less is more, breaking the barriers of racism, gay issues, hiv education, love knows no boundaries, being the complete teacher. I really feel all his song lyrics turned into all the songs for me (us). Its like all the songs lyrics are reversed. Its this feeling i get from listening to his songs that they were about his life but now the roles are switched and he is the Jesus to the child. Do you get what i mean?

    • @jr9249
      @jr9249 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      After he died, his boyfriend Kenny said on a British TV interview that George was eerily good at predicting what would happen (and he even predicted that Trump would win, which even Trumo's campaign didn't think.) . I think he had an innate ability to understand people and culture and that was part of the reason he was able to work the public over so he became so popular and that after he stopped doing that and much later started doing interviews again when he was older, that his innate sense about these things came out when he talked about substantive issues like politics and war.

      Calling him psychic is a disservice to his intelligence. If he was ‘eerily accurate’ it’s because he was intelligent and well read which would give him a great understanding of how global politics work. I hope the interviewer walked away with some new found respect.

    Excuse me for a minute, but every time I see George stick his tongue out like @1:28, it does something to me....just sayin' 🔥❤

    #GeorgeMichael was brave for speaking on this matter, esp since he was subjected to much ridicule for his personal matters, which wouldn't have been the case had he supported the other side. It's unfortunate though that, whilst standing up for rights for same sex-attracted ppl, he couldn't acknowledge the problem of drugs & sex & its detrimental effects on the gay community. The "ape heterosexual relationships" comment is wild....I mean, this guy used to be in hetero rel'ships. #hardtalk

    All I have to say is he definitely was no dummy. I would have hated going toe to toe with him. He. Was definitely not an airhead.

    It's nice to hear this talk now. When american's lie is obvious and they lost the war they've started.
