Alvin Jones he’s won everywhere he went. He has a winners DNA an intangible you look for in a QB. Some guys rise to the occasion that’s kyler in a nutshell. He went undefeated as a starter in Texas’ highest classification in high school. Kliff has seen him since he was a sophomore at Allen and he knows he’s the best player in the draft and perfect for his system.

I think Murray will impress under pressure, escaping the pocket constantly and throwing well downfield, with numerous highlight reel moments, but fundamentally the score will always tell a different story because AZ are just bad. Losing season for Arizona, but Murray will look like a shining light.

*Question for anyone more familiar:* Wasn't the Browns' O-line pretty terrible when they drafted Baker?. How bad was it compared to the Cardinals? When Baker got drafted, all I could remember hearing about was how terrible the Browns' O-line was, and that Baker wouldn't have a chance with them protecting him. Yet halfway through the season, after the Hue firing, they became one of the best.

I agree with Shannon. Kyler is great but he’s 5’10” and is going to be playing for a team with the worst O-line and nobody to throw it to.
He’s a smart guy with sub 4.5 speed. Kliff will get him quick throws and out of the pocket if you can get 6 yards on 1st down with a scramble and not get touched or break a sweat it changes the whole complexion of an offense that has a bad o line
Roger B they’re removing that from the game so that’s a non issue these days 15 years ago it would’ve been way harder for him to succeed but now d linemen can’t even land on you so he’ll be fine. GMs build teams backwards personally I’d go defense OL at the top of every draft and consider a QB a crown jewel once I’ve built the rest of the team. Russell was eased into the league developing a winning culture without having to carry the team. If you can play defense and run the ball and still win with a young QB it bodes well for his confidence. Russell is now a seasoned superstar. If the team sucked and they threw him in there he may not be the same player today.

Height has no bearing on how well you take hits, in fact the taller you are the farther down you'll fall.
It's all about width. A tank like Cam Newton can take hits regardless of his height.
Also Barry Sanders was 5'4" and most running backs today aren't tall either. If height determined how long you would last why is the most injury prone position not occupied by 7 foot giants?
