I was at a really low part of my life when I was 10 years old after something in my life happened, I remember just feeling alone, depressed, and lost for 4 years, but eventually I found my way back to the Lord!
But this song really hit back on those memories, and making me realize that if I had just stayed faithful in my walk with God, prayer life, and seeked comfort in the Lord immediately, that everything would've been just fine, and I'm glad that this song exists that it can be an encouragement to others.

What a blessing! I got to hear Christin sing this back at Bluelick Bible Church in November of 2021 when it was like a week old, and it was a huge blessing to hear. I've been waiting for a recording to come out ever since, and when I saw it announced a few weeks ago, I was so excited.
This song was such a blessing and comfort to me this morning. I've been struggling through some things in life, and this song seemed to voice the wordless prayer of my heart so perfectly. Thank you!

Does “for” have 2 meanings?
I have always read these verses in Romans 8:26,27 as the Spirit prays and intercedes to God on our behalf as we attempt to relay our heart to God-the Spirit prays “for” us; in our place; on our behalf.
But as I listen to you sing, I wonder if it is possible that the Spirit prays and intercedes on God’s behalf; as God “attempts” to pray “for” us?
Is it possible God prays for us?
…Jesus prayed for Peter, and for all who would believe in Him, in the book of John.
Certainly I need help in relaying my heart to God. So many times, I just don’t have words, and my heart is so confused and heavy. But I wonder why it is so hard for me to imagine that God would need help relaying His heart to me? Praying for me? 😔
What an amazing thing to ponder, that God uses His Spirit to pray in communication with me, on HIS behalf, just as I use His Spirit to communicate with Him, on MY behalf!

Good thoughts to ponder! If we only knew how much God was "filling in for our lack"... and even that phrase is sorely inadequate. "My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart..." (Psalm 73:26). "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1). "...we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us..." (Romans 8:26). Praise God for all the ways He IS for us what we are not, and DOES for us what we cannot! 🙌
I understand those verses in Romans 8:26-27 to mean that the Holy Sprit interprets our prayers to God the Father. One Christian writer explained it as follows:
Christ, our Mediator, and the Holy Spirit are constantly interceding in man's behalf; but the Spirit pleads not for us as does Christ, who presents His blood, shed from the foundation of the world; the Spirit works upon our hearts, drawing out prayers and penitence, praise and thanksgiving. The gratitude which flows from our lips is the result of the Spirit's striking the cords of the soul in holy memories, awakening the music of the heart. (1SM 344.1)
