I really enjoy your daily inspirational sayings. Sometimes it is a rocky road to reach our goals, but leaves you with a great deal of satisfaction. Happy stitching!
Hi Colette, Thank you for sharing your stitching progress and finishes. Your Quaker temperature piece is lovely. Quakers are among my favorites to stitch and the Rocky Mountain Quaker looks like a fun stitch. Happy stitching. 😊
Ricky Quaker is very nice. And so is all your stitching. Loved watching your video this afternoon. Over here we had a couple of icy days and people could skate afain on outdoir rinks. Too risky on the canals! But we have snow in the formaat for next week. Won't be as much as you are getting but it will disrupt traffic. And I finidhed project 1 . 4 more to go before a new start! Take care and stay safe in your winter weather!
It lovely seeing you today and all of your gorgeous wips. Oh, the lace maker is looking wonderful. And your new piece of women in the field of flowers is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Love and blessing xx
I guess I haven't realised how confetti heavy is the Lace maker and I am so happy you keep working on it and have a nice progress to show. Love your rocky quaker, it's the only one I would think of stitching from all quakers I have seen so far. So excited for full coverage month to come❤
I do love the piece Rocky Quaker. I love Quakers. They are addicting. You have one of the prettiest colors of the Temperature Quaker. Some don't have as many colors. Up on the House Top looks great. Boy those snowmen really pop on that dark blue gorgeous fabric.
Hi Collette! It’s so nice to see your progress on your WIPS and hear your plans. Boy you aren’t kidding that Lacemaker looks so much more vibrant in real life! It’s beautiful! The Rocky Mountain Quaker would work equally well as an Adirondack Mountain Quaker!
Thank you for sharing the gratitude thought! ❤ Loved your completed Temperature Quaker and the Rocky Mountain Quaker is a beautifully pattern as well. I enjoy where I live now in the Midwest but I do miss where I grew up on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Hi Colette. Thank you for the update. Your plans seem to be working very well. Lovely progress on a A Lace Maker: the leaves look wonderful. ⚘️ I gave my sister rocky road for Christmas and she loved it!
Your Lace Maker is going to be beautiful when it is finished. I had many days last year where I was unable to stitch because of my hands, I made it my goal/aspiration to stitch every day even if it is only 20 or 30 stitches. The year started of Rocky but I have been managing to get 250-300 stitches a day. Look forward to your videos.
Good Morning Colette and nice to visit with you. Raining here in Northern Ontario, Canada, very unusual as we usually have at least 2 feet of snow by now. Always look forward to seeing what you are working on especially your full coverage which I have discovered is also my 'happy' place. I have signed up for the year long challenge from Full Coverage Fanatics, that's a total of 103,405 stitches, doubt I will achieve it, but will do my best. The Rocky mountain chart reminds me of our Rocky Mountains out west. (MuskokaLynn)
I am also in the Full Coverage Fanatics Group. I was so glad to hear you are also using the timeline for the Focus event but altering the actual stitching days to meet your scheduling limitations. I am in two groups that offset their focus events by 5 days but I am able to use the same project for both. I limit my stitching time to the rules of the event and post the information for the later event during the active event days accordingly. There is something about the push to make progress on the projects during these events that drives me to achieve much more than I do on regular stitching days. I have seen the Rocky Mountain Quaker on other floss tubes and I think it is a wonderful adaptation on the Quaker theme.
Rocky Mountain quaker looks lovely. I was surprised how much brighter the colours are in the Lacemaker. It is looking beautiful and I look forward to watching your progress on her. I have rejected some of those style of patterns because they look dull in colour. I may have to rethink some of them. Thanks so much❤
Hi, Colette. You have been busy stitching away. Your finished temperature project turned out so pretty! The T Kogut piece is beautiful; that house is intense. The brick work on the other one is, too. I'm glad your kit came for hubby's stocking. I did get my fabric for birdhouses finally and also the kit for my stocking project. I need to redo the threads on it so I can work more efficiently with it. 😅 I enjoy hearing about the different groups and sals you are in. I hope the snow melts quickly for your area. It's been a rough Winter already for some areas of the USA. Happy stitching!❤
I’m glad you got your fabric for the birdhouses, it’s a fun stitch. I really didn’t want to put my Christmas projects away but I also wanted to get started on my new year plans. Most of our snow is gone now, we had warmer temperatures and it rained so that took care of the snow! 💕💕💕
The weather here is very rocky...flipping between snow and rain, the footing is very slippery. We love your videos whenever they are posted..no worries on whether they are on a specific schedule. Take care.
Thank you for sharing your progress and plans! The Rocky Quaker piece is so pretty. Have never stitched a Quaker design. Look forward to your next video! Take care 😊
Hi Colette I live in Northwest Indiana and it is Saturday the 13th of January. We have gotten Rain - Sleet - Cold Temps - Snow since yesterday morning. Tomorrow we will be clear down to Zero during the day time and then below Freezing Temps from tomorrow through Wednesday. I have been staying in. I did go out and shovel a path out to where my car is park. I did not go beyond my sidewalk. The Snow is wet and heavy. Love your WIPS - you are making great progress on them. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️☕️❤️
So nice to see you my friend! Love the Rocky Mtn pattern! I need to pull out my very few full coverage pieces for February! Thanks for sharing your stitching and be well!
Good to see you and your beautiful projects. Again Lacemaker is stunning. I often wonder how the full coverages are designed. All of the shading, confetti and colors to create basically a portrait. Amazing! Looking forward to seeing the Rocky Mountains😉
The daily gratitude quote was lovely. I enjoyed seeing your FOs. I am new to full coverage and have also started a temperature piece. I am doing Sarah’s tree. It is a lot of fun and I am enjoying the octtooct Sal. The stitching is my first time on Lugana even weave. A year of new stitching! The best rocky has to be Rocky Road😊
Collette! So good to see your FT!! The rocky you completed is stunning! I’d love to see you do a video on how you get your dimensions kits ready for you to enjoy!! You mentioned you set them up a certain way and I’d love to see how you do that! 😁 take care and I’ll see you next time! May God bless you and keep you safe.
Morning, up here in Atlantic Canada where our storms have been every weekend and also rain rain and wind, totally not our winter weather. Ha confetti! H my lots in mine.. had to put it away for a bit as all the similar dark colours! Oh AB is my favourite province because I love the Rocky mountains. I live near the ocean but woods and mountains are my favourite. Lol I am behind, waiting for pattern for your last oct to oct sal😂. Oh the confetti! But so pretty when finished. Thanks for that gratitude! Yes is a good start .. thanks friend❤
Here in Indiana we don't have any snow yet, but my son lives in Utah. He drives from Sandy to Provo every day for work and has not been enjoying all of that snow you mentioned! I love full coverage cross stitch too. It is so satisfying to see the picture emerge. The rocky pattern is lovely. Quakers are fun to stitch.
You are the winner of Rocky Mountain Quaker! Please email me at colettekingsley@mac.com so I can get this beautiful pattern sent to you. Congratulations!
Hi Colette! I am so impressed that you can give yourself "stitchy"marching orders and stick to them. That is probably why you can get so much accomplished. I only have one must do. My dear friend and I select a sampler to start every Jan 1. I'm a monogamous stitcher until the sampler is finished. This year we chose Mary Gypsom by While Iris Naps. Wish me luck!
It is really exciting to see your progress on A Lace Maker - that pattern is just stunning, but then, most of what you stitch, I absolutely love. Thank you so much for taking the time to share these lovely projects with us. 🪡🧵Rocky
I’m excited to see what you choose for your anniversary piece! And I was wondering if Vintage Country Mocha would work for your Twisted Christmas Sampler - you seem to like that fabric and it would look good with the Christmas colors. 😍❤️💚🤍
I will take a look at that fabric with the colors, hadn’t really thought of that combo! I’m trying to make my final decisions on fabric and thread for the anniversary stitch but will post it for sure on the next video. 🤗💕
Candy Haus - well done! I love the person greeting everyone - the wreath head, the sign arms, the body door and the sides of the walk are the legs. Don't see it all in the finished picture, but gives me a smile now. Lace Maker is coming along so nicely! The touches of flower/color are really cheery! I hope they are helping to urge you along. Always look forward to seeing you, whenever you can, Colette.
Always love your Floss Tubes. I’m in Wisconsin and we’re getting dumped on by the snow. Good stitching and reading weather. I love Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons.
Your temperature quaker is so beautiful! I would love to try a full coverage piece one day and will hope to learn from any tips you can provide in terms of choosing a pattern and how to organize myself to begin.
Happy New Year! I love Lace Maker. It’s such a beautiful pattern. I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. So we are getting hit this weekend with this Arctic Blast also. Happy Stitching!
Hi Colette:-))) really enjoy your videos always fun to see your progress… Lacemaker is so pretty…I’m currently working on my first Dimensions kit called Toy Shoppe really enjoying it!! I love the Rocky Mountains!! Until next time take care❤
It was so good to see you and your stitching and hear of your plans! Your stitching is beautiful! My start to my stitching year has been a bit rocky! I was going to do a blessing sampler then on about the 10th I changed my mind on which sampler. So I am a bit behind. Thank you for posting and Godspeed
The January Reading was also great! 💖🤔☝️#"I will reach my goals or die trying.💪💖One thing I won't do is quit.-Judi💖"😌😝🤪☺️👍😎oh! &hey! 🤔I haven't had a chance to watch all your videos yet which I fully intend to do. I'm guessing you made that beautiful Lace umbrella to? #beautiful artwork!🙂💖#You go girl!👍😎
I just subscribed and enjoyed our visit. I love Quakers, i just finished the monthly Quakers by From the Heart Needleart. I would love to see your Rocky Quaker.
You have had some good progress on your projects. We like visiting Colorado, and seeing the Rocky Mountains. Viewing the wildlife is my favorite. I have started my very first full coverage Artecy piece. It's a mini, and I'm using an easy grid 16 count, so I don't get too far off track. After stitching about 6 hours, I'm pleased with how it's going, but I haven't hit the real confetti part of the pattern, yet. I'm hoping to keep at it.
I'm in NM. It is deceptively cold. I say deceptively. because with all the sunshine, you think it's warm outside. Until, the door is opened. Brrr. This morning it was 16 degrees outside. At least there, you have the snow to show for it.
Whoa! That is cold! I heard it is going to be extremely cold in the Midwest, minus degrees, including into Texas. I love the snow up to a point, then I’m over it! 😂
How many Rocky's can I do? Rocky Road ice cream, Rocky Mountain High..John Denver, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Rocky Balboa. LOL... beautiful stitching, my dear friend ! ❤
I love the Rocky Mountains, I love Quaker motifs. That's such a lovely pattern! I just put the last stitches into the January bit on the Birdhouses SAL. I'm doing mine like Brenda (@handworkmainac) - with Oct/Nov/Dec over on the far right and now Jan on the far left with all the upper border in between. We'll see how it all meets in the middle (fingers crossed). I'm going to try to get my current pictorial (Sugar Skull) finished so I can re-join the Full Coverage Fanatics with the Morrison "Mead Dragon" before the month is out. I only have one Full Coverage on the go at any one time, so I prefer the stitch count challenges to the theme one, but starting - I can do that LOL.
I really like the challenges this year in FCF. The mileage is too intense for the amount of stitching time I have but I still want to tick off some of the total miles like Route 66. 🙂💕
I have to admit, I've been haunting the designer's website just in case Rocky Mountain Quaker gets released before a year from the retreat (not so far). I gasped the first time you showed it!! Looking forward to Full Coverage February, it was fun last year to see everything you were working on. Belated Happy New Year, too!
Hi Colette! So wonderful to see you. We've had a very mild winter here in Western Wisconsin. Unfortunately, that has come to an end. Very cold temps and blowing snow today. Are you going to work on Lost No More this year? It's my favorite project you are working on. My bestie lives in Provo. i will be staying with her for a week in August to attend Education Week at BYU. Looking forward to it. AftonFarm/Leigh
I have one HAED pattern and I have had a rocky and slow start. Doing tent stitch. I put it on my wipgo 4 times to force myself to work on it. The pattern is called nativity and a lot of dark sky. Not sure this was the best one for my first full coverage.
I would love to know how you kit up your Dimensions pieces. Could you film it? I haven’t found a method I love yet. Also what is the daily 30 book group?
I am planning on doing a video on it soon, I’ve had several people ask me about it. As for Daily 30 it is a Facebook group that does several types of challenges during the year. It is a private group but they will open it for more members during the year. I’m friends with one of the admins, I can check and see with her, if you are interested. ❤️
I have often enjoyed driving through the Rocky Mountains! Thank you for all your videos. I really enjoy the organization behind your stitching.
Thank you for the viedo. I love to see all the progress you make. The rocky mountains were my stomping grounds all through my childhood.
Rocky Quaker is so pretty. Nice stitching. Stay warm and safe.
I really enjoy your daily inspirational sayings. Sometimes it is a rocky road to reach our goals, but leaves you with a great deal of satisfaction. Happy stitching!
So true! 💕💕💕
Hi Colette,
Thank you for sharing your stitching progress and finishes. Your Quaker temperature piece is lovely. Quakers are among my favorites to stitch and the Rocky Mountain Quaker looks like a fun stitch. Happy stitching. 😊
My husband and I drove 20 hours in order to get married in the Rocky mountains. Thank you for your videos I love watching them
That is so sweet! ❤️
Love your finish and your progress on your beautiful wips. Happy stitching!
The rocky quaker is adorable. I give you lots of credit for persevering on your full coverages!
Will see how I do!
Ricky Quaker is very nice. And so is all your stitching. Loved watching your video this afternoon. Over here we had a couple of icy days and people could skate afain on outdoir rinks. I saw a typo in my comment to you. Of course it had to be Rocky Quaker!
I can't wait for full coverage February. I love seeing the Rocky mountains in your videos
It lovely seeing you today and all of your gorgeous wips. Oh, the lace maker is looking wonderful. And your new piece of women in the field of flowers is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Love and blessing xx
Thank you! You too! 💕💕💕
I love reflecting on Rocky Mountains, along with Quaker motifs.
Hi Colette! It was fun to see your plans and progress. Your temperature piece turned out so pretty! Hope you stay warm!
I'm loving the background so far for the woman in flowers piece. It's going to be so pretty!
I guess I haven't realised how confetti heavy is the Lace maker and I am so happy you keep working on it and have a nice progress to show. Love your rocky quaker, it's the only one I would think of stitching from all quakers I have seen so far. So excited for full coverage month to come❤
Thank you Collette ! I loved your inspirational quote- perfect for January. To me there is always beauty in the journey.
Im very impressed with your ambitious plans and stitching. You are very diligent.
I do love the piece Rocky Quaker. I love Quakers. They are addicting. You have one of the prettiest colors of the Temperature Quaker. Some don't have as many colors. Up on the House Top looks great. Boy those snowmen really pop on that dark blue gorgeous fabric.
Lovely as always. Stay safe in this horrible stretch of weather
Love that Rocky Mountain chart 😍 and I'm super excited to see the progress on all your projects during this next year !!

Your finish of that Rocky Mountain Quaker is really nice, and inspiring! I always look forward to your updates - thanks for another video!
Thank you so much! 💕💕💕

We are very cold and windy in central MO, staying in and stitching all weekend! Love the Rocky pattern.
Love your channel. I have always wanted to visit the rocky mountains and get snowed in. ⛄️
Thanks for sharing. I would love to see the Rocky Mountains.

February always sneaks up on me but I love having a month focused on stitching Full Coverage. See you Monday! 💕💕💕
I have loved the Rocky Mountain Quaker since I first saw it. Your finish was beautiful!
Thank you! 💕💕💕
I grew up in the Rocky Mountains. I would love to stitch where I call home.
Good to see you and your beautiful projects. Again Lacemaker is stunning. I often wonder how the full coverages are designed. All of the shading, confetti and colors to create basically a portrait. Amazing! Looking forward to seeing the Rocky Mountains😉
It is amazing to me too how it creates a portrait too. Sometimes I don’t notice, until I stand back and look, how much the picture is taking shape!
I would have to agree with Rocky Road! 😂
Collette! So good to see your FT!!

I’m planning on making a video on it soon, especially since I’m in the middle of kitting up the new Dimensions Stocking.
God’s blessings to you!

I lived in Provo for a couple of years! Loved being in the Rocky Mountains for a spell.
Great progress Colette!! 💕🌷
Rocky..love that pattern❤️
I would love to join your February full coverage 🎉 I only have two on the go but they need more love ❤️ Rocky
Hi Colette! I am so impressed that you can give yourself "stitchy"marching orders and stick to them. That is probably why you can get so much accomplished. I only have one must do. You are very welcome! 💕💕💕

Rocky. Send some of your snow east to N Carolina.
I definitely want to stitch that Rocky Mountain Quaker. I live in the mountains in Southern Colorado.😊
Perfect!

ROCKY 🪨🏔️
Rocky. I would love to stitch it.

Thanks! I forgot, until a couple people mentioned it, that Rocky Quaker hasn’t been released yet. So someone is going to receive a nice surprise 🙂

I need to pull Lost No More out again. I got so wrapped up in Christmas stocking stitching it got passed up!
In case it still holds I’m interested in the Rocky pattern
Sorry. Just pulled the winner a couple days ago on my newest flosstube
I'd love to hear how you set up your dimensions kits. I have several beautiful ones that are stalled cuz I get so lost!
I hope to do a video on that soon! Thanks for asking! 💕💕💕
Hi Colette. Do you have a video of how you like to kit up and organize your dimensions kits? I’d be interested to see.
Yes I just uploaded a video on it a couple weeks ago. It’s right after Floss Tube 113 I believe.
I have one HAED pattern and I have had a rocky and slow start. Doing tent stitch. I put it on my wipgo 4 times to force myself to work on it. The pattern is called nativity and a lot of dark sky. Not sure this was the best one for my first full coverage.
Those dark sky ones can be daunting! The one good thing is they tend to stitch up faster because of less confetti. 😀
That would be awesome! Thank you!❤
My new start had a rocky start, a bit of reverse stitching required 🫢
😂😂😂 Hope the Rocky start has reversed itself!
