We were just in the parks for 3 days this past weekend and the only bummer was not bumping into you and Amy! Great reviews. We usually stay at the Desert Palms and have had great luck there. This last trip we tried the Tropicana, and while the room and facilities were much more basic, we can certainly understand why proximity to Disneyland is so highly valued now. Can't beat the 5 minute walk after a long day!
@@RionGreenhouseKit I stayed at the Best Western just outside the gates once, and it was amazing to go back at 11:30 PM and basically be at my room in mere seconds.
My favorite so far has been the Candy Cane Inn, especially if you get the "premium" rooms in the back, they bring you a really nice breakfast in the AM (that you choose the night before) and it's a short walk to the entrance or you can take the trolly if you are trying to save your feet a bit.
@@SoCalDisneyDad Yeah basically. You hang a tag on your doorknob that they pick up at 2am and you can get all kinds of stuff and pick one of three times depending on if you're an early or late riser.
We are Candy Cane fans too! Premium rooms are so nice! Bummer they don't have an elevator though, which helps with the stroller so we always request a first level floor.
Park Vue Inn was perfect for my family! And the fact that at the end of the day we could just cross the street and get to our room was perfect! They have slightly bigger room with two queens and a bunk bed and it was the perfect size for our family of four. I don’t regret staying there.
We usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. My boys loved stopping at McDonald’s on our walks to the parks with breakfast or grabbing a late night snack on our walks back at night.

I love the Fairfield Inn. It is just close enough and although not fancy, it has a McDonalds and Panera so close it is perfect to pick up a quick breakfast before rope drop
I've stayed at the Fairfield once, but it was during COVID. The park wasn't open. We just wanted to go to Downtown Disney for the day because we needed some semblance of Disney. And then we went to Knott's the next day for their Boysenberry Festival, which they still had even though the park was closed at that time. It was okay, but I definitely need to stay again and have a more normal experience.
@@LogicalVelocity the rooms were good sized. Large kitchen area, water park, underground parking, free breakfast that was actually good! Bus stop right out front will take you to parks for a small fee. I highly recommend this hotel.
